no. shes right. The Fifth Element has not held up. Gary Oldman scenes great. First 30min or so great.. amazing visuals. The rest... yeah. not good at all.
No, it's good up until explosion, then we get some shitty contrived love/stones rocks shit with Chris Tucker acting the fool.

The first 90minutes are great.

This was Bruce Willis LAST great action movie
This was Mila's LAST good movie
This was Benssons LAST great movie

while Chris Tucker is arguably pretty comedic w/ Jackie in Rush Hour 1+2 (even both were shit movies)

5th Element is also a great example of a movie where the protagonist and antagonist never meet and have very little awareness of each other. There's a lot of enjoyment in that movie.

5th Element is a great film. It is one of the few films I can rewatch and not get bored.

I will tentatively say this looks maybe-not terrible.

I just don't want to commit.

I'm in. What graphic novel is it based on? Looks like another Jodoverse/Incal thing.

I love those books as a kid. It looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to it.

So many of my childhood is being made into movies...some good like the Marvel movies, some not so good like Transformers. Hopefully this will end up in the good section.

This gives off huge Jupiter Rising vibes. I mean, I loves me some hard Scifi, but I dunno about this.

Nothing about that looks hard scifi bro.

Why do both of the leads look like they are 14?

The visuals are amazing, and colorful like the books. It looks like it's going to be an epic sci-fi adventure.

I'm not sure about the casting though.

You've got really good looking costume'd actors, and just okay looking CGI characters.

Can we just stick with one or the other?

It's got Cara whatshername, the eyebrow model. She was OK in Suicide Squad but if they cast her then I can't imagine this being good.

Its like how you knew Terminator Genysys would be shit because they cast Khalisi.

I'm staying positive. I think it has a chance to be pretty fucking great. I don't get the hate for the actress either, maybe I'm sheltered but the only thing I recognize her from really is Suicide Squad and she was fine in that, acting was not the problem (mostly) with that movie.

Definitely should be casting quality actors to make the Terminator franchise great again. I am thinking A-List stuff. Like Christian Bale maybe.

Movie is going to be 100% dependent on valerian and laureline's compatibility.

They probably suck as individual actors, however they might raise the performance of the both of em.
