I dunno man. I missed the boat when it came to vampire games, in general. I completely missed out on the first one. Although, I have thought about buying and playing it. But, I dunno.

He still confirms it's a walking sim with often times uninspired sidequests.

Also indirectly confirms the 50+ sidequests Mitsoda wrote over 2 years (per LinkedIn) were thrown out and not even dissected for partial integration into the game. That's another strike against it. Completely throwing out the original creators work on sidequests when your game has terrible sidequests. And that the storytelling format is a bit tedious with flashbacks where you talk to someone, then after the flashback you talk to the same person again-- and this type of storytelling repeats throughout the game.

Most poignant is the game would sell better as a different VtM game. Instead people will just wait for Bloodlines 2, again.

This makes me want to buy a whole bunch of old Werewolf: The Apocalypse TCG decks and then have no one to play them against

What are the chances this is anything but a jankfest day 1?
Paradox games are always jank at first. They are woke as fuck, but they can overcome it at times. Maybe this will become a game I want to play eventually, but fuck no on day one.

Yeah day one you'd be better off just lighting money on fire.
