I can certainly appreciate it. I think that 75% of the enjoyment of opera is actually -going- to the opera. You get all dressed up and you're doing fancy shit like a grown up.

But for the reality of it... it's sitting in a chair for 2 hours listening to a bunch of music that's not terribly interesting interspersed with a couple of very fine aria's which are interesting.

There are exceptions. Some operas are interesting start to finish. But that's rare. Ballet is where it went for "it has to be good start to finish".

Science doesnt dispute that Gender Dysphoria is a mental issue. True transgenders *are* intersexed and are a genetic abnormality. There is a marked difference between feeling like a woman even though you were born a man, and the 2% of the population that arent born a male or female and have that choice made for them by their parent/guardian at birth.

2% is way high. The ENTIRE transgender population is approximately 0.5% give or take and that includes intersex / hermaphrodites which then only probably make up roughly 5% of all transgender people.

You realize that SJW's use intersexed / hermaphrodites / Kleinfelter patients (XXY chromosomes) as their rationale to back up their views that sex isn't just Male / Female as well as other completely irrational arguments.

You can't use biological anomalies as examples to prove the other 98% that don't exhibit any of those anomalies as "correct". That's like taking transgender people themselves and saying that what they go through is representative of the cis-gender population at large. Obviously it doesn't work that way.

I dont know what SJWs use for whatever means. I do know that roughly 2% of the global populous is intersexed (dunno where 5% comes from) and it is a genetic abnormality. This is fact, and these non male, non female individuals should have the same rights as anyone else, and be allowed to identify as whichever sex they feel they are.

Contrasted with every other self-identified transgender, who has gender dysphoria, who simply *feels* like they are in the wrong skin suit. Not saying they are any less real, or deserve any less rights, but they by and large want society to conform to their standards for judgment, instead of the other way around.

Here's a hint though, society will treat you like garbage regardless. It is human nature. However if my wife wants a female gynecologist, she isnt asking for a dude in a dress. If she were, she would make that clear.

I said 0.5%, not 5% and those 0.5% are, as I said, the populace of transgender people to include both non-intersex trannies who experience GD and intersex people... so 2% is literally an impossible number to arrive to. That 0.6% is an extremely liberal estimate as there are a sizeable chunk of people who just "identify" as trans but don't even take hormones, get gender-affirming surgeries, change their names. Non-Binary are what these fruits are called mostly, and they're NOT trans. So I tend to err on the side of conservative estimates on the actual trans population. Read the SJW/GG thread for tons and tons of examples of non-binaries and faux-trannies. Furthermore, this peer-reviewed paper here indicates the number of intersex individuals is waaaay lower than your 2% you said was fact.

The ethics is a whole nother story and you and MANY people are free to find it unethical... I can't disagree with ya on this point Chris. If I was a parent (I'm not; I can't have kids obv) and my child exhibited tranny behavior, I would try my best to support them, but try and get them to get through as best as possible so they could be comfy in their own skin and not transition. Being a tranny is a hard life even for us passables. There's still the overarching problem we face of personal relationships that need explanation at SOME time, and let's face it... the only people really interested in female trannies are men who fetishize us for sex. No one I think would choose a tranny over a cis person in a committed relationship.

I look the way I do because it gives me comfort and makes me feel normal, not because I'm trying to "trick people" into thinking I'm a cis woman.
