Best bang for the buck. It's like 6 hours out of my day for a trip so I like to make it worth while. I can't handle flower anymore, so dabs are my go to now. Can't even take the smallest puff off a bowl or joint without turning into mr wheeze. Can do a lung of dab without issue though.
Have you tried dry herb vaping? I rarely combust anymore unless I have prerolls. I cough more with dabs then I do with my Solo 3.

I have not, not having loud skunk around has been nice. It always changed faction to scowl when my wife smells it.

Does that device have a concentrate attachment as well? May be something to look into for sure for myself. I still do the butane torch and heat the banger up

Unfortunately not. I have a core 2.1 for dabs. There aren't really any dhv's that do both well. Some of them will have the ability with extra pieces. My first dhv was a Lobo and you could do concentrates in it, but the clean up was more difficult and you had to use a concentrate pad and a dosing capsule.

For anyone taking a longer T break, or just stopping for whatever reason, I highly recommend PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) + a full spectrum CBD tincture. I used to get anxiety, stomach issues, sweats, and really irritable for a a week or 2 after stopping, but these basically eliminate all of that (for me at least). I normally vape a little concentrate in the evening for a couple months before a break, nowhere near as heavy use as some people, but worth a shot if you have those issues too.

I love it just from the fact that it'll now allow the FDA to study it for its medical properties or lack thereof.

So I'm enjoying the bong a lot more than edibles. Oddly, I had leaned into edibles because I was under the impression they'd give longer lasting effects, but I've noticed the high I get from a bong hit can last me a pretty solid 8 hours (and honestly, I'll feel pretty pain free the entire rest of the day).

That said, a bong is a giant pain in the ass. So I'm considering getting a vape. I really don't want to spend a ton, and so the two that are sticking out to me are a Solo II Max (it's on sale for $132), or a Dynavap (M7?). Both of them sound like they're super easy to clean, which is the big thing I think. The Dynavap stands out because it sounds like I can just take a big hit off it and be done, but then the downside is needing a fucking butane torch, and then I've got a hot piece of metal to figure out when I'm high. The Solo II just sounds more convenient, but I've also read it's a "sipper." Which I don't particularly want to sit around smoking all night. But I'm not sure if the Solo II Max "fixes" that issue?

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any opinions.

I have the Solo 3. What people mean by a sipper is how you smoke it. Your draws are similar to drinking through a straw hence a sipper. I am not sure what the Solo 2 can do. The Solo 3 has a Session and on demand mode. Meaning you can either smoke a full bowl, which is like 5 -10 minutes max in session and on demand means you can take a draw, then put it down for a bit, then take a hit again. You just have a few seconds lag time for the device to heat up again.

I also have a Dynavap M7XL and it's a great little device, but the torch thing became annoying af. It also has a learning curve, so expect to combust your bowls for the first week while you get a hang of it. I got tired of the torch and ended up getting an induction heater, which will set you back another 100 probably.

I would take a look at the Planet of the Vapes One or Lobo. The Lobo was my first device until I upgraded to the Solo 3.
