Every single source of calorie burn/expenditure on every single app/smart device/exercise bike/whatever is VASTLY overestimating how many actual kcal you're burning during a cardio session.

Pedaling on a stationary bike for half an hour is not burning 250kcal. Unless you're a semi-professional athlete your calorie burn is not even something you should be paying attention to if you want to lose weight. You just need to eat less - the exercise is to improve your health in other ways.

I'm just confused what your point is? No need to take it personal man.

If you just want us to be more aware that it is difficult for fat people to stop eating, and it's an addiction, thats fine, I agree. I don't understand what you want.

Sorry that hurts your feelings man, it's not the intent.
All I'm annoyed by is the weirdly selective lack of inference. I'm attempting to discuss, not compel, but this isn't on topic anymore, so I'll stop shitting up the thread with it.

yeah, thats also a thing. I've tried to look into getting concrete answers how they are calculated, and not found good answers. seems to be time+heartrate calc. but im not sure. and yeah, questions of body weight/muscle mass, etc...

but for the second part. eating less/cal in is a lot easier to measure yes. but, building muscle dramatically increases daily calorie burn. it burns calories during the activity, it burns calories for 3 days after rebuilding muscle tissue, and burns calories from just maintaining the muscle.

And no, dont need to even go crazy. 20m/day. squats, lunges, planks, pushups. will burn calories like crazy.
