Whats funny is ozempic/semaglutide made a big splash, but tirzepatide and retatrutide are more powerful and will hopefully get to more fatties. Retatrutide isn't approved yet but probably in the next year or two.
Mike's video on these 2 new drugs sounded very promising, the end of modern steroids

Just checking in because I am starting my fitness routine. Been putting it off for a long time and recent health concerns tell me it's time.

Current weight: 225 freedom pounds, 6'1", penis length 6-7" depending on activity.

Would like to lose 30 pounds.

I have a gym membership strictly for cardio and a rogue squat rack with bench in my basement, a long with 300 pounds of plates.

My plan is to do a modified 5x5 (have a bad shoulder injury) a long with cardio. Once I lose the weight I want I'll probably look more closely at putting on muscle. What's important to me is lifting is the one exercise I actually enjoy doing. Worst part is waking up several hours early to do all this (no time with kids).

No real point to this but rambling.

Why would they be the end of modern steroids? They do different things?
From what I remember, the normal steroids we hear about promote muscle growth. These new ones, restrict the hormones that restrict muscle growth.

It was a bit confusing that you quoted Cad about 2 GLP-1 drugs that have nothing to do with the 2 drugs Regeneron announced that restrict those hormones.

I bought a pig from a farmer who just so happens to also run a transport truck at my job. I don't know if I will buy store bought pork again.

I don't even think it was more expensive than store bought. The difference is absolutely incredible, and I know goddamned well that he's just feeding them natural grain and no fucking garbage, no drugs, no fillers, no bullshit
Yeah I bought a half cow this year from a local ranch. It is night and day difference from what you buy at the store. I did the math and it does save a good amount overall due to the variety of cuts. The only beef I have to buy at the store these days is brisket.

So my question is how are these weightlifters who are apparently willing to play guinea pig with their bodies getting all this stuff that's , in some cases, even pre-clinical trials?

NGL though, if they pan out and don't kill folks it would be a game changer for a lot of people.

Peptides aren't hard to make and are commonly available from the same places that sell steroids. You can also get "research chemicals" and peptides from commercial places that ship it in non-human-consumable form that you have to reconstitute.

Buy Research Peptide Online | Peptides for Sale Online See e.g.

those guys are already willing to take something that is known to kill people (steroids). being a guinea pig for something that might work better and be safer sounds right up their alley!

I guess so. I think the furthest down that path I've ever gone was being on the "higher than is natural for your age" Testosterone. I did the pellet thing for around 10 years. And they would show me the numbers and talk about how to boost for "someone my age". I asked them "Why not boost me back to where I was when I was 18?". They said "There's a chance it could affect your fertility". I had already had issues that made that a non-issue in my life (no kids for me) so I asked if there were any other dangerous side effects they said not really, very slightly increased prostate cancer chance, but 1:3 guys are getting that anyways. With that said I spent my 40's with the T level of an 18-20 year old Haus and I will say it was glorious enough I've been tempted to get back on the train.

Good article does a nice job of summarizing the data we've known for a while
I'm torn on the whole thing. I hate going into my gym and seeing a new member there thats hefty/fat and they are just DRENCHED in sweat. Like, I know thats "healthy". Theyre curating their willpower and discipline. Starting their cycle of muscle gain, etc. But they'll be on shit like the stairs for an HOUR+ and Im just over there thinking how they dont even have to do that awful shit for anywhere near that long.

But I also put myself in their place and think back to when I was fat. I stress eat and I'm probably eating more than I need to right now in my life because Im going through some stressful shit. But, when I was going through my achey breaky heart phase - I was in the gym, wearing myself out to the point of exhaustion... going home, and instead of eating a proper diet or even taking a shower at times, I'd just fall over into bed and get up and do it all again the next day. Yes, it was a severe calorie deficit that brought my weight down. But it was the exhaustion, keeping my mind preoccupied, that was the driving force behind my calorie deficit.

Sitting at home or at the office thinking Im just going to count calories just wouldnt have worked. My mind would have literally drove me insane trying to fill the void that I felt with food. So.. in a way, the gym, for me anyways - was still the reason I lost my weight.

Yeah I think you can do too much math with this stuff. When I lost the most weight (60ish pounds over the course of a year or so) I was cycling 60 miles a week or so and also lifting weights etc. I did pay attention to my diet but not that much. I wasn't counting calories or anything. Whether it's psychology or physics, it's not a bad thing to be in shape. Exercise will make you feel better, be less likely to get injured, take your mind off of the stress in your life, etc. It doesn't have to be all about calories.

Been wanting to try enclonipene (sp?) to get a boost of natural production without going overboard, supposed to have less issues than directly boosting.

Feel like I've at least heard about Androxal. No personal interaction with it though. I am completely fine admitting to the fact that I use androgel, though.

But I also purposefully stay away from any steroid that may stack with Androgel because as much as I feel like a fucking unit in the gym now.. Finding the "plug" for a steroid that I can abuse might prove to be the drug that I actually get hooked on, lol. P Pooch , you got that hookup?
