I'd buy any of you shitbirds a beer.

I did get a stern lecture at home after meeting Tyen for a beer, though..

Flying big sites is fucking boring

This is where I'm working all day today. 15 miles from home, 30ish miles from the office. Haven't seen a single human after getting on site this morning. Love it. Even brought a couple rifles out for some lunchtime plinking.

I can see my neighborhood through the scope.

I'm totes jelly. I would murder people for the ability to not see another human for an entire work day.

There's no magic to it. Just do it.

I travelled all over the place after I got out of the military and people always thought I was a trust fund baby because of it. Nope....I usually had $500-$1000 to my name when I moved somewhere new. All it takes is charisma and a "I'm here to work" attitude.

I'm trying to figure out how to take a picture of my ass right now, so I can tell you all to kiss it and be jealous....and because there's no one around to complain to HR about it.

Enjoy your traffic, nerds!

It's not as simple as that. I'm here for the schools, plain and simple. Nassau County on Long Island has pretty much the best public schools in the US. And they should be for what I pay in property taxes. The day my daughter graduates high school, I'm selling my business and getting the fuck out of here.

San Diego.

I've lived in most of the western states at one time or another. My father had some serious wanderlust. Usually stayed away from towns and had property in wide open spaces miles from anyone. But went out to San Diego for a summer a long while back and fell in love with it.

Took a long time to get use to so many people and the outrageous beach tax. But there is something about this place and the people. Just works for me. Miss the Rockies, but the beach makes up for it.

After I retire, I am considering moving back out to northern New Mexico. It is truly the land of enchantment. Then again, I may be too citified' for that now, and New Mexico may have changed too much.

I like how an average sized town in the UK counts as a city in the US.

Well a city in the US has many many suburbs that butt up against the city that can go on for 40 miles or so on the really big city. All around it. Like LA is 4 million population. The LA metro area is 13 million. Lot of times if you're not from that suburb you don't even know when you left one or the other or the city limits itelf.

As lot of times you will say I live in city X or going to city X. But you're actually in suburb Y the entire time which counts as the metro population but not the city population.

The UK would be the largest state by far by population.
This is not a good thing!

I love people but I can't stand traffic... I rarely get upset with most anything life throws at me but in a car? In 5:30pm traffic? Shit can set me off and it's not pleasant.
