Random thoughts. Need to see it in person to gauge bedspace, and i wish it had a 2 door longer bed version. But i think I actually think i like the maverick as a light cheap commuter/ object hauler if you don't need to tow.

3600 lbs 280 ish hp awd. 0-60 isn't much worse than my old Vw R32. Starts in the 20s.

The price on it is pretty amazing. As a commuter car with some extra utility it seems like a pretty great option. I don't know why nobody makes little pickups anymore. They used to be really popular.

little pick ups you say? I don't remember if I ever posted my truck or not.

1995 Honda Acty Town. these kei trucks are pretty popular work trucks here in japan.

They cost as much as a regular truck with the exception of that new Ford.

I’m really considering getting a hybrid Maverick optioned out. I hate the fact it doesn’t have AWD but do I ever have a use for it? Not really.

It looks like shit...

Seriously though it looks like a generic Acura sedan, it's embarrassing they put the Integra name on it.
Yep. I’m not a fan of the new civic either. Bland as fuck.

A lot of companies are going towards this horrible jagged look and I hate it. Flowing lines make sexy cars, not a 5 year old with a protractor.

Might have went a bit overkill on winters

Looks a lot like the 2022 Civic.

Old and new Integras are mostly upbranded Civics, which isn't a bad thing. Lot of compact cars, but especially Hondas, have been uglified by high headlights/bumper regs.

Problem with the new Integra is that it's ugly as hell and they've put an inferior engine in it. Makes no sense to have their "fun, hip, and sporty" car look like a cheap rental that blends into the background. It's a huge miss.

Lawn mower grade engine, no SHAWD, this is just a Civic with different headlights and taillights. Pretty lazy effort.

Probably not, since those ain't winters.

I'm still shocked the difference cheap ass pure snow tires made vs top end all seasons last year in some true blizzard weather.

Yeah, snow tires make all the difference in the world. Our Sonata is light and crappy in the snow, or so we thought. We got some good snow tires and it's just fine.

Had the first really good car show in Houston in 2 years. Good turn out of every kind: exotic, muscle car, JDM, etc. Met my hero in person for the first time; F40. Some of my other favorites for the day are below as well.

Registration to bring a car was waived this time. Instead, everyone brought a new, unopened toy for kids. The pile was huge. It was great to see so many people out and about as well.

I put a deposit down on a 2022 Veloster N, it won't be delivered until early February. See how it goes.
