It honestly seems like they felt they had to do something "radical" as a departure from their normal... The problem is people who love Ferraris love that normal, they WANT that normal. Why couldn't they have just taken a traditional Ferrari style body and started there, modifying where needed to accommodate batteries instead of engine/tank, etc?? I have literally seen DIYers do "electric conversions" of classic cars... It can't be that monumentally hard. heh
And apparently there are already all electric supercars, so this was just a specific design decision to try to redefine what people want in a supercar and the new thought of what people SHOULD be wanting was apparently "An Apple mouse with wheels"

I like EV's and EV supercars are stupid. The whole thing that made it a supercar and differentiated it was the engines. No EV supercar sells. People don’t want them.
Ferrari either assumes absolutely all their clients will continue to be sheep, or they built a car they knew would fail so they can tell the EU to fuck off with auto regulation.
Yup. EVs make perfect sense to move around town efficiently. Super cars never make sense, logically, and exist only for the emotion they create: sights, sounds, feelings, etc.I like EV's and EV supercars are stupid. The whole thing that made it a supercar and differentiated it was the engines.
And the body style. I’ve never understood why car makers don’t make super car looking cars without the performance and price tag. The c8 corvette shows how popular that can be.I like EV's and EV supercars are stupid. The whole thing that made it a supercar and differentiated it was the engines.
Exclusivity, its the entire reason they can demand higher prices and higher margins on their nice brands. And the body style. I’ve never understood why car makers don’t make super car looking cars without the performance and price tag. The c8 corvette shows how popular that can be.
A 25K dollar 4 cylinder sporty variant would be awesome.TBH i kinda like the look..Just doesnt belong on a $640k Ferrari.
