It honestly seems like they felt they had to do something "radical" as a departure from their normal... The problem is people who love Ferraris love that normal, they WANT that normal. Why couldn't they have just taken a traditional Ferrari style body and started there, modifying where needed to accommodate batteries instead of engine/tank, etc?? I have literally seen DIYers do "electric conversions" of classic cars... It can't be that monumentally hard. heh

And apparently there are already all electric supercars, so this was just a specific design decision to try to redefine what people want in a supercar and the new thought of what people SHOULD be wanting was apparently "An Apple mouse with wheels"

The Lotus Evija is ridiculous and apparently a blast to drive. Then theres this...

Anyways IDK why Ferrari went with this design, it reminds me of those stupid Lambo SUV's, just trying to create a market for people who want the name and not care what the car actually is.

No EV supercar sells. People don’t want them.
Ferrari either assumes absolutely all their clients will continue to be sheep, or they built a car they knew would fail so they can tell the EU to fuck off with auto regulation.

I like EV's and EV supercars are stupid. The whole thing that made it a supercar and differentiated it was the engines.

Yup. EVs make perfect sense to move around town efficiently. Super cars never make sense, logically, and exist only for the emotion they create: sights, sounds, feelings, etc.
This BS is all political and everyone knows it.

And the body style. I’ve never understood why car makers don’t make super car looking cars without the performance and price tag. The c8 corvette shows how popular that can be.

Exclusivity, its the entire reason they can demand higher prices and higher margins on their nice brands.

The Toyota MR2 (the 2nd gen one) is a good example of how you can absolutely make a kinda-supercar (at least look like one) on a budget. Fix the rear suspension and put a camry V6 with a turbo on it in there and it absolutely can be a supercar. All these things are cheap.

Some angles from the front aren’t so terrible. The back looks like a car ate a baby Ferrari and is now shitting it out. I think the interior looks pretty nice overall

Ferrari doesn't exist anymore. It's Stellantis/Fiat group. And they make really shitty cars and bad decisions.

Ferrari has been spun off from FCA (pre-Stellantis) for over a decade now. They own all their own shitty decisions at this point. They make some great cars (albeit of questionable reliability). This is not one of them.

Their last good car was the SP3. Every since is not.
