Dream remake would be the entire series in one game. Sadly the last one wasn't very good, but man. Under a killing moon and Pandoras Directive were peak FMV games of the 90s.

If it gets remade, they really just need to enhance it to HD2D like some of the other recent remakes. Spruce up the dialogue to flesh out character motivations and so forth. Add more content in the underutilized areas like 65,000,000 BC. Maybe even make 1999 AD explorable somehow, even if it's only during one of the endings. But generally stick pretty close to the original, only with modernized visuals that make it look the way our brains remember it looking.

What I DON'T want is for them to radically alter the game in any way, from changing the characters ability lineups to making it a Trials of Mana type 3D escapade. And for fuck's sake don't divide it into a trilogy of games over a 7 or 8 year release window like what happened to FF7.

* - I'd put Bioshock and Elden Ring over it, myself. Bloodborne, Super Metroid, Xenogears, and Final Fantasy Tactics also might all be in that bracket.

Turns out it actually was possible to make Crono even more OP.

Sid Meier's Pirates!

I actually never played the original, but the remake in 2004 was fucking amazing. Best pirate game I've ever played, beating Assassin's Creed 4 by a long shot.

Giving it an upgrade in graphics while retaining the rest would be sweet.

Phantasy star (not the online ones) would be freaking awesome. Especially phantasy star 2 and 4. I always thought Phantasy Star had such a cool world and story.

Breath of fire series would be great too.

A classic from my childhood. My first introduction to the EQ universe and Diablo style games.

Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms.
These games blew my mind on PS2. They also had online PvP, Co-op and the ability to transfer your build from the first title to the sequel.
