I was at a yard sale last Thursday and a mother and daughter were there buying. The daughter looked maybe 14-15 and had tiny shorts on with a frilly bra-like two inch wide tube top barely covered by a t-shirt looked like it was previously owned by Bruce Banner.

I felt like an old man. Why isn't your kid in school? Why is she dressed like a hooker? How are the straight male and lesbian female students and teachers supposed to concentrate with something like this around?
Yup, it's terrible. And from the back you can't accurately judge age (or sometimes sex[See:Any Fedor post]). My daughter is only 7, but our one clothing rules are no yoga, torn, midriff clothes, and NO WORDS ON THE BUTT (Looking at YOU "JUICY"). I see words on clothes I have to read them, then I realize I'm staring at middleschooler ass. =\

As with Josh, I finally became so weary of J. W.'s continual propositions that

I responded to him with a similar verbal insult. In the weight room I tried to walk
past J. W. to get to the back of the room. Looking at me, he put his leg up on a
weight bench to prevent me from walking past. I said, without a smile, "Very
funny, J. W.," and turned to walk around him. Quickly he put his other leg up. I
was now trapped between his legs. He looked at me and smiled as if he expected
me to smile back. I tried my usual strategy of invoking humor and challenged
him, "But can you put both legs up like that at the same time?" He said, loudly
for the entire class to hear, "You'd like that, wouldn't you?" Ticked off and em-
barrassed that my approach hadn't worked, I said, witheringly, "You know, I was
a teenager once and I dated teenage boys then. They weren't impressive then and
they aren't now." The other boys laughed loudly, jumping in with their own in-
sults. J. W. hung his head in embarrassment. I felt good, as if I had linguistically
wrested sexual and gendered control of the situation from his grasp

Fuck those people

It's not a good game if the score was 3 to 9 million. If the difference in score was that high, one side had an overwhelming advantage. That's not a good game that's a steamroll. A good game is a final score difference that is not greater than 10% of the higher score. I.e. 9-10, 90-100, 39-42, and so on.

People use it at the end of games in WoT as "good game", annoys me a little as well considering people on both sides do it and the match might have ended 15-1.

The GG thing at the end of a game stems from the idea of "good sportsmanship." Didn't you guys ever play Little League Baseball as kids? Even if you got your asses handed to you, you congratulated your opponent on a "good game" and shook/slapped hands with them.

Why? Does that make it too much like real life? Also, does this hooker use all her money to buy her boyfriend drugs?

This. It's common courtesy in... every game/sport I've ever played.

I want to fund a technology that detects when your car is on the freeway and fines you $1 per minute for every mph you are under the speed limit. It might give people some incentive to NOT DO FUCKING 50 MPH ON THE FREEWAY WHEN NO ONE IS IN FRONT OF YOU.

Or how about stalled cars? I think if you're driving a car that's stalled on a major interstate/highway and cause thousands of people an extra hour drive home every single fucking day, you need to be fined. If your car stalls and your registration/inspection isn't current, BAM $1000 traffic citation that acts just like a traffic ticket and if you don't pay it, you get a warrant. So tired of these fucking people in cars that have no business being on the road and end up breaking down either in the fast lane or middle lane of a major fucking highway. If your car can't pass inspection, take the fucking bus or rapid transit. Get the fuck off the road.

I completely agree. but the problem is with enforcement. They were probably able to get a real registration for their shitbox because it is so easy to get a fake smog and inspection certificate. Cops don't even look at cars that are broken down any more, as long as they are able to get over to the side of the freeway. They need to be inspected and fined. Possibly even a class action lawsuit system. Shitty chevy cavalier on I10 made you late for work this morning? Join the lawsuit and get compensated for it! Sigh.. I should run for fucking office.

I remember having my transmission (I assume that's what it was, anyway) start taking a shit when I was driving on 95 and not near any exits. I couldn't go faster than 35mph so I put on my hazards and moved into the far right lane while I creeped towards the next exit to get off. Nonetheless, I got numerous honks as people veered around me.

Haha funny you mention a Chevy Cavalier. That's what I was driving at the time. It's also the reason I'll never buy another American made car.

Speaking of NFL, I don't think I've listed this one yet.
-Not being able to watch or even listen to my fucking team unless I pay through the nose for sunday ticket.
-special blackout rules for the texans that allow them to black out the cowboys more often than any other team can black out it's closest competitor.
-4 radio stations in houston playing texan's game and not one plyaing the cowboys. Not even a station in a neighboring city that's just close enough to pick up
-NFL games being blacked out on internet radio stations. Note, they don't all seem to be blacked out, but all of them carrying the cowboys damn sure are.

Nerds that get mad about 'gg' online don't know this because they never played a real sport in their life
I played multiple sports all the way thru high school and we shook hands after each game in a long line (in baseball but not football) and never said "good game" unless that person actually had a good game against us. I do know what you are talking about, having seen it in movies where kids say "good game" 50 times to every other player without looking them in the face.

I'm pretty sure you can pick up 710 AM out of Shreveport in Houston easily (I normally do while driving thru and visiting and was there this last weekend) and they carry Cowboy games.

Here are all the stations, I would think you could easily pick up Livingston in Houston, or maybe they are subject to black out as well I don't know how that works.

Appreciate it, I saw that list a couple days ago, and i planned to try them all out on sunday. In past seasons, I have spent hours slowly adjusting the dial of the most sensitive radio I could find with very little luck. My best bet used to be a station out of college station which would sometimes come in, but they don't seem to carry the games anymore. i also used to listen to the games on a station out of austin, but they haven't carried them in a few years. I might be able to get the Shreveport station if they are a megastation. Odds are, the livingston station isn't allowed to broadcast with enough power to reach me.

I can pick up the Shreveport station pretty good during the day at least to Kingwood, they are not a 50,000 watt superstation like WWL etc...but they reach pretty far. I really thought Houston would have had a station that broadcast them.
