Rustled?

My MiL is part of a rosary group that meets on the front lawn of a church in a tiny town. It's a typical thing around here, small town, Catholic church that's way nicer that it has any right to be because the locals out money into it, a dedicated group that just wants fellowship. This week the priest told them that he is banning praying outside in public on church grounds. On top of that he informed them that if the church is sold and it becomes a mosque they have no right to be upset since they worship the same God as us.

I genuinely am considering making an offer on it and just converting it to a house. Yeah, I'm pretty rustled.

I get what you're saying, but I went to FSU, and people have been trying to get them to change their team name from The Seminoles to something else for years, and every time the local news interviews the local Seminole and they are absolutely fine with it.

It's erasure, plain and simple. Removing the lady from Land-o-lakes, removing Aunt Jemima is the same. Aunt Jemima wasn't a slave, it wasn't exploiting a black person, that was her legacy.
