Not saying this is "the best" because there's no such thing (and the song is so-so... catchy but still so-so) but just adding this to the mix as being an amazingly complex piece of work that is even more stunning to realize this is now 17 years old.

The answer is obviously Thriller. Anyone saying otherwise needs their Pop Culture card revoked and burned.
