Yeah this one sucks, that scene in Top Gun maverick where he had a chance to reprise the role of Iceman. It hit hard watching it, but still I'm glad he got to do that.

Nobody mentions Real Genius or Top Secret!. I knew Kilmer from those movies. Top gun was later on. I also think he made a blink and miss it cameo in Madonna's Material Girl video.

Everyone in the family sat around and watched Top Gun Maverick tonight. When Ice Man showed up in person, I paused the movie and we had a brief moment of silence for his passing.
It's lame, but whatever. Good movie to watch again.

This one hits me odd, so many movies I loved him in but never cared much. I think Tom knew what was going on when he stamped it in Maverick

I'll prolly watch
His documentary
Felon? Never seen it
Kiss kiss bang bang
Into the darkness

I don't know if anyone mentioned "The Ghost and the Darkness" but that was another good one.

That's most movies you like as a kid - they're awesome at the time, then you grow up and think "wtf is this shit?" after the nostalgia wears off

The ones that hold up are nice though. A few years back I watched Jaws and Die Hard in one night and was like "Damn, those are still great movies".
