Only 20 something year olds stand a chance of riding those highs and lows. When I see guys in their 40's blasting like Carrot Top was, I know they are struggling mentally. Mental peace is more valuable than any aesthetic especially at that age.

A while...like 20 years ago or something? The guy has a mountain of cash, and all he does is his Vegas show and sits at home alone. He's been doing this for a long time. No friends or girlfriend or anything. Surprised he has lasted this long.

Carrot Top's hospitalization comes as the longtime Las Vegas performer has been embroiled in a growing legal battle involving allegations of explicit conduct.

Billboard chart singer Brian Evans has been battling Carrot Top in court over claims involving an allegedly unsolicited explicit video, allegations the comedian has been fighting as the dispute has moved through both federal and state court.

Evans previously sued Carrot Top in federal court in Florida in July, seeking to challenge a 2024 settlement agreement between the pair.

The federal case was voluntarily dismissed without prejudice on August 6 after a judge rejected Evans' request for emergency injunctive relief, but their fight has continued in Broward County court.

The dispute escalated earlier this month when Evans claimed in a court filing he had reported Carrot Top to the FBI's Las Vegas division.

Evans said he had been in "multiple communications" with bureau personnel and claimed he turned over evidence concerning Thompson’s alleged conduct.

There is no indication from the filing that Carrot Top has been charged with a crime as a result of the report.

The federal case was dismissed without prejudice, allowing Evans to pursue his claims elsewhere, and the dispute has since continued in Florida state court.

Then, this week, a second man stepped forward in the ongoing court fight.

Zachary Defazio filed a sworn declaration in Broward County identifying himself as another alleged victim and produced purported explicit text messages and photographs involving Carrot Top.

As Radar exclusively reported, Defazio's attorneys had also demanded $7.5million to settle what they described as sexual exploitation claims.

The latest allegations added another layer to the legal pressure surrounding the comedian just days before news emerged that he had been hospitalized in Las Vegas.

Carrot Top has not been criminally charged in connection with the allegations outlined in the civil dispute.

Brian Evans is 56 years old and has access to the block feature on apps. No sympathy.

Zachary Defazio is 25 years old-- I'm willing to hear him out about what happened, just due to the age gap, but this looks like opportunistic shakedown and exortion by ex interests from Grindr (which has been corroborated that he has been seen using this app)

On December 19, 2021, Gilbert reported that he had undergone emergency surgery at the ICU to remove a rare cancerous tumor called a pheochromocytoma after he was found unresponsive in his bed at home.[18] On August 15, 2022, Gilbert reported that he had been diagnosed with cancer again and would undergo surgery the following day after another pheochromocytoma tumor was discovered in his spine.[19] He announced on February 11, 2023 that he would undergo intense chemotherapy after additional pheochromocytomas were discovered in his lungs and back.[20]

On March 23, 2026, Gilbert announced that he had undergone emergency brain surgery after three tumors were discovered.[21] In April 2026, Gilbert reported that his cancer diagnosis had changed from metastatic pheochromocytoma to stage 4 adrenocortical carcinoma.[22]

On September 20, 2026 New Found Glory posted on their Instagram that Gilbert had died in his sleep that morning at his home in Nashville, TN.[23]
