you almost feel sorry for this faggot

I feel really bad for him because he clearly unconditionally loves her and she treats him like shit. This is a thing that plays out everywhere all over the world every day, but not in front of the cameras for everyone to see. You'd think the shame would motivate him to change at some point.

Penn's character was certainly unique. Hollywood likes it when actors turn themselves into a freak for a role. Personally I would have given it to Benicio. He was great in that movie.
Sensei was fucking great but I just don't think he had enough screentime, ultimately.

Funny, I watched that video thinking he left her and she's trying to rationalize things and is telling herself he'll come back. She also looks like she's trying to cover up the reality of the situation or save face. The roles are so weirdly switched from traditional relationships where the abusive guy acts like this. Hollywood is full of degenerates.

Just saw Hamnet. Having seen 8 out of the 10 nominees (I doubt I'll ever watch F1 and Frankenstein), my Top 3 is 1) Hamnet 2) The Secret Agent 3) Sentimental Value. Hamnet is not without problems, but you get a very solid film and, in an ending that is already very strong and moving, there is what must be one of the best use of reverse angle in film history. Jaw dropping stuff.

I don't see why anyone would feel the need to be deeply closeted in Hollywood these days.

How many Hollywoodian actors playing lead parts do you know to be homosexuals? It's not a public opinion or peers perception issue, it's a career decision, it's about being able to be considered for as broad a range of parts as possible.

I think the world is ready for a gay action hero now. Probably not in the days when Will Smith was getting famous though. Maybe he took lessons from Tom Cruise.
