I've seen the first episodes of everything thus far (on SubsPlease) I like a lot more than I initially expected... at least with the first episodes.
Monday:
Kirei ni Shite Moraemasu ka. (Wash It All Away) - Younger woman owns a laundry business. Probably a drycleaner, but she seems to use a standard washing machine for some items. It's a slice of life show, and not terrible so far.
Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai (You Can't be in a Rom-Com With Childhood Friends) - Slice of life. Guy's into childhood friends that are female, but all the stories about them are fake. This show is a weak version of slice of life. I'm not interested in it.
Tuesday:
Maou no Musume wa Yasashi Sugiru!! (Demon King's Daughter) - Guy is a Demon King and going for world domination. He stops because... his daughter is nice? Fuck this show.
Isekai no Sata wa Shachiku Shidai (The Other World's Books Depend on an Accountant) - A different world summons their "holy maiden" from Earth, and some other dude gets summoned with her by accident. So now he's an isekaied accountant. Ok then. So he's trying to solve the financial problems with this new kingdom. It was interesting enough.
Yori Shin Den Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) - I'll be honest. I remember watching an old cartoon network Ronin Warriors show in my early 20's. There was a bad guy named Talpa. I wonder if this is related? I just started this and I can outright say, yes it is. In the opening few seconds it shows the old Ronin Warriors from that anime. Looks like Cartoon Network had the original back in '99, so I was 18 at the time. 44 now, so yeah... 26 years ago. This seems to be a remake of the old show. QUAKE WITH FEAR! Oh look, there's Ryu of the Wildfire. I'll give it a shot for nostalgia purposes.
Mayonaka Heart Tune (Tune In to the Midnight Heart) - An almost rom-com slice of life show. Girls school in Japan becomes co-ed. A boy that joined the school (MC) used to follow a girl on her podcast, and figured out after listening for a while that she goes to this school. That's why he ended up applying there, just to meet her in person. It's a cute enough story. I'll keep watching for now.
Yuusha Party ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku shitemita. (There Was a Cute Girl in the Heros party) - A different hero party show than the first one. Ok, hero group is after the demon king. He quickly defeats This them, but realizes that the one girl in the hero party is "his type". This feels like a show that's meant for children.
Arne no Jikenbo (The Case Book of Arne) - Kid likes Comics and doesn't believe monsters are real. So he decides to prove that monsters aren't real. His dad was also killed by one, but he thinks it was just a serial killer. His dad was a detective that was close to cracking a case when he was killed. The kid believes he can finish his work and solve it. This wasn't bad, but I'm unknown on if I will continue. I like too much stuff today anyway. I don't think I'll have time to watch it all regularly.
Wednesday:
Yuusha Party wo Oidasareta Kiyoubinbou (Jack -of-All-Trades, Party of None) - Guy kicked from hero party for being too weak. Changes his class from Enchanter to Swordsman. Seems to be off to a good start.
Tamon-kun Ima Docchi (Tamon's B-Side) - Show about a guy idol group. I'm not even a little interested in learning more.
Thursday:
Yuusha-kei ni Shosu (Sentenced to Be a Hero) - Concept is that bad people become "Heros" that have to fight endlessly against demons. Every time they die, they're resurrected, but forget things. It's a forever punishment. Fantastic animation in this one. A lot of action, and the characters aren't complete shit either. I'll stick with this.
MF Ghost - It's back and it's fantastic.
Sunday:
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana-Kimi) - Some chick in America falls for watching this dude in Japan doing track who jumps well. She decides to attend his school, so transfers to his school, but it's an all boys school, so she has to pretend to be male. It's a dumb enough show, but not horrible.
Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru (The Sorcerer Can See) - Blind kid is a water magician. He thinks he'll be able to make new eyes using magic.
Kizoku Tensei - Megumareta Umare kara Saikyou no Chikara wo Eru (Noble Reincarnation) - Reincarnated kid. Son of the emperor, but the 13th prince. He's also another water magician, the second I've encountered this season. He is gifted a cursed sword by his brother, but also manages to master said cursed sword. Now the emperor is interested in him. I'm liking this so far.
Goumon Baito-kun no Nichijou (Daily Life of Part-Time Torturer) - Ok... Starts off with a guy in a gimp mask. It looks like it's a show about working at a Torture location. It says "This is a world where Killing and Torture has been legalized.", so kind of like the middle east. This show isn't keeping my attention at all so far. Yeah, I'm done with this one.
Ikoku Nikki (Journal) - It's the story of a girl who is a novelist. Her sister dies in an accident (along with the sister's husband), leaving this girl's niece all alone in the world. So she decides to become her guardian. Nice idea, but I'm not interested.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai - Otona e no Kaidan (Love Is War) - As of episode one, I don't know how I feel about this. It's slice of life with high school romance mixed with other shit. On the up side, they fuck in episode 2, but it isn't shown. Just talked about. I'm glad that the school president guy isn't a complete pussy. Then suddenly it's the adult life. He's working for a company and the two are still together. Oh, this is the final season of a show. I didn't even realize because I haven't seen the first seasons. But it was still decent enough.
Hitori no Shita - The Outcast - Rust Iron Returns (Under One Person) - Some Chinese crap. As soon as I heard the voice, I knew I wouldn't be watching it, so shut it off.
