The very fact it’s a joke is what promotes degenerate parsing and speedrunning for a score on some 3rd party website in the first place. It’s just inevitable in a mostly solved 20-year old computer game populated by freaks and autists, though disabling everything but personal combat log events and gutting addon communication years ago would’ve done a lot to contain this cancerous behavior before it could metastasize into the wider playerbase.
I got so much shit from the other rogues in FoH during classic for not coming to the raid with full world buffs because I was actually randomly playing my character during the week instead of raid logging. It’s a large part of why I quit.
