So not much in the way of items with a bunch of extra primary stat in lieu of the secondaries?

Some of the legendaries have a disproportionate set of primary stats, too. That's pretty much it though. Everything else scales normally.

Had about 40 pulls on mythic goroth last night. the overlap of certain abilities isn't reliable, in our 40 pulls about 10 of them we had burning armor / infernal burning hit less than a second apart (too little time for the tank to dodge even with transference) which is almost a guaranteed dead tank. the other pulls there was a 2 secondish gap which is enough time to make it to a nearby pillar. almost all of the videos that resulted in a kill the abilities didn't overlap, for the guilds that did get a weird overlap they scrambled to kill him before shit hit the fan and ended with like 5 people alive. weird if this is intended or not, or what is causing the abilities to sometimes overlap with one another.

we didn't end up killing him because half the raid had no damn clue what to do and where to put pillars. i think we had 2-3 dead by the 2nd infernal burning every pull, time to trim the shitters from the raid team.

Haven't done a regular mythic, let alone an M+ in... Months. Just not worth the effort.
I did two every week. One to upgrade to 10 and then the 10. This week was the first where I didn't do one at all. Partially because we just had a baby and I'm helping my wife, partially because they burn me out.

Unfortunately I'm now missing a week of 930 gear which sucks.

Don't worry, it would have been something useless, just like most other weeks.

Still really torn on what to use lv 100 token on. Doubt making a second lv 100 warrior is worth it for legend drops as a filthy casual. Debating just doing my paladin to have a healer option and another class that can farm BWL for my old ashkandi transmog since Nef is being a bitch so far otherwise. Unlike ages ago, finding just about every class a lot more fun at least on some level. (Think shaman is the only one I've been pretty bleh on and everything else at least has one spec that is much excite.)

7.3 from the devs.

“Sometimes the hand of fate must be forced…”

Welcome to the Patch 7.3 Public Test Realm! After the events on the Broken Shore and inside the Tomb of Sargeras raid (no spoilers!), it’s time to take the fight directly to the Legion’s home world of Argus. We’re really excited about this update, and are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback as we head into public testing.

Most (but not all) of the new stuff in 7.3 takes place on Argus—and as you might expect, this is hostile territory. Demons patrol every crag of Argus’s shattered surface, and sometimes it seems as if the planet itself is out to get you. This will be a very story-driven update, but we’re also designing areas with sandbox elements intended to be enjoyed even after you complete the main quest, with gameplay and challenges on the planet’s surface reminiscent of past endgame areas such as the Molten Front, the Isle of Thunder, and the Timeless Isle.

One of the first things you’ll encounter to help you navigate the Legion’s home turf is the Vindicaar: a vessel that will serve as your mobile base of operations—and one of your few safe havens—on Argus. Aside from giving you direct access to a number of 7.3’s new features, the Vindicaar will also be your primary method of transport behind enemy lines. Argus is a no-fly zone, similar to the Timeless Isle, so to help make sure it’s still easy to get around, the Vindicaar will give you access to an extensive network of teleportation hubs (similar to flight paths, but without the travel time).

There are three main areas to explore on the planet, the first of which is available for testing on the PTR today!

Also in this first build are the first couple of chapters of the 7.3 storyline, and some new and improved casting animations for Restoration Druids, Elemental and Restoration Shaman, Discipline and Holy Priests, and all three Mage specializations (and yes, that includes Arcane Missiles). As with previous patches, player feedback is very important to us as we work to update these animations, so we’re really looking forward to hearing what you think.

(Note: Shadow Priest animation updates are also on the way for 7.3, but aren’t working yet in this build. In fact, some spells are likely to have no animations at all right now. That’s only temporary while we finish getting the new animations ready for PTR testing.)

Other major content that’s contained in Patch 7.3 but not yet complete in this build includes:
  • Further chapters of the Argus storyline, including many cinematic story moments
  • New World Quests
  • Professions updates, including epic gems
  • The Netherlight Crucible, which allows you to upgrade your Artifact to unlock a new way to customize your Relics
  • New dungeon: Seat of the Triumvirate
  • New raid: Antorus, the Burning Throne (though as with other Legion raids, it won’t be released immediately with 7.3)
  • Invasion Points, a new type of replayable content that let you fight the Legion on multiple different worlds
  • Several other improvements and updates to existing features

As the PTR process continues, we’ll provide updates with each build on what’s new. Thanks, and happy testing!

I'm curious to who the fuck the end boss will be? KJ + Archimonde? Don't these fuckers just go respawn at Argus when we kill them? If the last raid is just every big demon we've killed I'm going to be so fucking disappointed.

7.3 PTR spoiler below.

'Argus the Unmaker' is currently listed as the final boss of the Burning Throne raid/7.3/7.3.5 (whenever it comes out) - Lots of fan speculation that Argus the Unmaker is Sargeras in a titan construct body or that the name will later be changed in the journal to Sargeras.

  • Garothi Worldbreaker
  • Hounds of Sargeras
  • War Council
  • Portal Keeper Hasabel
  • Eonar, the Lifebinder
  • Imonar the Soulhunter
  • Kin'garoth
  • Varimathras
  • The Coven of Shivarra
  • Aggramar
  • Argus the Unmaker

Yeah I feel this. I really enjoy raiding and sometimes 5mans but I can't currently find any reason to log in and just play for fun outside of that. Sometimes while listening to podcasts I'll log in and brainlessly grind but w/e

New world quests might intrigue me, so I'm curious to see what they do with those 7.3 changes. I am fucking hype for every single type of raid in this game though so them already talking about it is great.

yesterday shall be known as legendary day, we had about 5 legendaries drop in less than an hour before raid and almost all were bis. either they upped the drop rate on some of the legendaries or people were just extremely lucky. disc priest ring, monk WW bracers, resto druid trinket, rogue shoulders, arms hat.

i finished my 4pc last night, i didn't get to test it very extensively since we called raid shortly after heroic host due to a late start but it felt really good in the 5 man i ran and i assume its going to be even better in protracted fights.

Man oh man, Blizzard has really hit it out of the park aesthetically with Argus! I love the grey, rocky cliffs, green lava, and draenei spaceship architecture. So much awesome stuff we've never seen before and certainly aren't fucking sick of.
