What’s worse. Drakkin or Dracthyr..?

Gave it several good, honest tries as a kid and a few as an adult and got wrecked all the goddamn time.

Luxthos has been working his ass off getting his WAs working for prepatch, streaming like 13+ hours a day as he works on them, it's interesting to watch them get made. I like the new designs and layouts a lot more than the SL versions.

Beta access, at least for me, is raids, dungeons and ability to craft. Vendors will give you anything for free. Tier sets, crafting materials for weapons, necks, etc.

Everyone and their mom is trying out Evoker's when they log in. Wont be surprised if they make up a huge portion of the population at max level for the first month or two. Protection Paladins feel more powerful than they did at SL's release, plus they now have an in-combat rez, too! I can heal, tank, cc, interrupt (they have like 5 interrupts now), in combat rez, save people with blessings and more. From my understanding, tanks in general have their niche zeroed in really well to an almost OP standpoint. Which Im happy to see that they now have some notable differences between them. Each tank excelling in one or more: Utility, Mobility, CC, Defensive (avoidance or mitigation), High DPS, etc. Im just hoping mobility doesnt end up being the king of all of them once again in Mythic+. I hate the idea of tank kiting.

Evokers also have an ability that allows them to soar across the battlefield and put up impenetrable walls on the sides of their path. I can clearly see that fucking over a bunch of noobies in early mythics, but can already feel that an Evoker with that talented(?) is going to be a requirement in high keys. Being able to completely block off enemies in Mythic+ is just stupidly powerful.

Overall, Im enjoying the instanced part of the expansion so far. Not much to do but learn the dungeons and raids in this beta because you're already BIS - but I cant complain. Being able to switch talents on the fly, and have them memorized is super smooth, too. You generally have about 5-10 points per build to spend on whatever you want once you have your meta path done.

I personally dont give a shit. I think you should be able to collect everything the game has ever had to offer. FOMO type of rewards need to die in a fire. Especially in a game that requires a sub to play. I'd rather they add a new Feat Achievement for obtaining shit like that so people can stroke their ego that they got such and such mount way back when.... For example, I'd love to have the black AQ mount but I wasnt one of the most popular chodes in my guild back in Vanilla. Add that shit as an ultra rare drop to C'thun and be done with it.

Worried about rated PvP in DF. They've added rated solo shuffle (basically 3v3 arena with solo Q) and removed rating requirement for conquest gear. Adding another rated mode will dilute even more the pool of players, DPS will have long Qs in solo shuffle because healers and tanks are the limiting factor (which wasn't the case in 2s, double dps was strong), and without rating requirement for gear I'm sure alot of players will not bother with rated pvp at all and farm conquest in casual modes. Maybe this will all be compensated by the influx of new players in the early phase of the expansion.

Very little in WoW has ever had any real prestige or value because they almost always find a way to devalue stuff.

The legendary cloak / ring quests had the opportunity to be big prestigious Breakdown In Communication type quests/items that'd keep people visiting that content in the future, so of course Blizzard was like "let's remove them lol" the minute their expansions weren't current.

As for this drake, making it available to people outside of an ultra-rare card sounds good to me. I'm talking more about stat items.

What are the tank classes in WoW at this point? I'm drawing a full-on blank.

Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight... is it all 3 specs for those classes? Can't remember if Paladin has like, a healer spec or something.

Shaman? Bear Druid? Maybe one of the Monk specs?

Is there much money to be made from WoW on Ebay these days?

Not gonna lie, I had fun making real money on EQ the last go-around by being the first on the scene to get some items, etc, and selling 'em for like 5x the kronos they'd be worth a few days later.

Too bad most things in WoW aren't droppable. I imagine my phoenix ashes mount would fetch a couple hundo on Ebay.

The honor and conquest sets will have the max pvp iLvl without having to upgrade them, but getting higher rating will allow you to upgrade their pve iLvl (not sure about the honor set, it might upgrade pve iLvl but I doubt it would require rating). Sounds pretty good to me, it equalizes pvp gear after the initial upfront cost, and the better players will be able to upgrade and use their pvp gear in pve (scaling up to mythic raid iLvl based on rating). I've mostly seen positive response to this change from pvpers. And of course there are still the other rewards from pvp such as transmog, mounts and titles.

For Tanks: Warrior has Prot, Death knight has blood, Paladin has Prot, Druid has Guardian, Monk has Brew, Demon Hunter has Vengeance. Paladin, Druid, Monk have all three roles in their kit.

I agree that most hardcore pvpers think this is a good change, but I'm skeptical these pvpers can sustain the pvp scene by themselves. SL season 1 had high participation cause PvErs did rated pvp.

I don't really see the issue though. If someone wants the set for pvp, they're presumably going to keep playing pvp after they get it because that was their goal. If they want the set for pve, then just like now they'll have to raise their rating to upgrade it to higher pve iLvl.

What makes me play personally is the pursuit of better gear through higher rating, I don't see myself grinding rated pvp next season, I'll farm the conquest gear in bg. So I'm mostly extrapolating from my own perspective.

Honestly all of the hybrid classes should suck ass aside from their healing spec. Resto Shaman, Resto Druid, Holy Pally should be the main specs and top tier, all of their off spec should be red headed stepchild shit damage specs. I know it's an unpopular take but "Fuck Them Kids"

I borrowed my friends wizard and made a killing off evil eye bags, manastones, fbss, anything down there really. Bought myself a shitty $900 Ford Escort with it, a new computer and desk lol. I was like 19 or 20 I think. Good times.
