I thought 'hmmm this 10% bonus for WarMode seems like a good idea since those abilities are pretty cool and I never see anyone on my 56 Shadow Priest anyway'

A few dozen ass-rapings later I flop back to Stormwind to turn it off.

That seems unlucky. I have not seen a single, solitary soul on my rogues in Zangarmarsh/Nagrand with war mode on.

They nerfed Tartare to slow down leveling for BFA which has nothing to do with PVP or M+.

Or they could have just disabled it in BFA zones. You know, the more logical thing.

But keep on defending shitty Blizzard choices.

You keep using that word but I don't think you know what it means. You and Khane should start a retard club of retards for retards or something. I didn't defend anything. I just said the stated reason for the nerf was not the reason.

I know you think you're a lot smarter than you actually are so I bolded and increased the font size on the pertinent bit. You go on and on and on about how you know the real reasons and why they are the reasons. Even when blizzard employees state differently in video Q&As.

So, is BfA much different from Legion? Or is it still pretty much: Do World Quests, run missions, do one mythic+ a week for your item loot, pray for some good RNG from your chests?

So many WQs and the random shit show of legendaries was soul-crushing for me in Legion. But I also haven't played in over a year.

i assume it'll probably be pretty similar. i liked the idea of the world quests, because it gave a legitimate path to obtain decent gear. and the emissary aspect being 3 days out, you could take a character, do some dailies for an hour or two and not have to really worry about it for a few days.

my only real issue with it is that the variable returns. you could either get some good legendaries, or trash that you don't need. i think my main had something like 300 of those stat runes and i used them CONSTANTLY just to get rid of them

i would like the dailes and the world quests to be a little more gradual though. you hit max level and just are hit with so much daily content that it all becomes white noise

BFA should mostly be the same:

- Instead of carrying around a bunch of legendaries, you'll have to carry 10-20 pieces of azerite gear
- Warforging/Titanforging RNG will be a little less drastic, so you'll instead be praying for azerite gear RNG
- So slightly less RNG, but no master loot so you really gotta pray when it comes to azerite gear a) you get some in a reasonable timeframe and b) that the traits are the ones you want

Other than that the setup looks the same as Legion.

I think it's gonna be exactly like Cataclysm in that regard, more of the same will some new paint. People will level through the new content, do some new M+ and WQs, try a couple island expeditions, realize it's mostly just more of the same stuff that was in Legion and un-sub.

The traits on azerite gear are fixed. A specific drop on a specific boss will always have the same traits, so no RNG here, you can target what you want.

Well that's good news. You still have to hope you get lucky on that boss though, since there is no master looter anymore. And you will still have to carry around a lot of azerite pieces for different specs & traits. But it probably won't be as bad as the legion legendary RNG.

Went to get a +15 done for weekly this morning and before we began I threw on my AoE set to start off with and I forgot I couldn't swap gear once we got to Rokmora, I felt like an idiot.

I am annoyed by that change to M+ as I actually liked having sets dedicated to single target, AoE, speed sets, etc. I got to train my hands to stop attempting to swap gear.

I'm of two minds about this change. On one hand I did enjoy swapping gear sets so that I could be relevant from a survival/aoe/single target stand point regardless of my spec. However I do think this might loosen up things composition wise (outside of the top percent like usual) because you will be looking to form a group that can cover all the bases from the get go. One AoE centered toon, One for pure single, and a mixture who can bring both. You could also see AoE x2/single x1 or the opposite depending on dungeon and affixes.

Grinding for azerite gear will still be a grind, but at least it is a reasonable one from a stat perspective. It gives you something to look forward to, like the legendary system did, on repeatable content but at the same time it won't have nearly the impact that they had on performance. So you can feel good about getting that 1-2 percent dps increase from a good azerite set while not feeling horrible because the lego that would have given you a 6-8 percent bump didn't drop and knowing you had at least another 2-3 weeks before getting another chance.

Yeah it’s a dumb change for sure. All it really does is gimp those who push the highest end or wanna min/max. Doesn’t effect probably 99% of the playerbase.

You are literally a retard. What was I attempting to justify? Oh wait, nothing. I was giving other people's justifications for you to use to determine it yourself.

Literally retarded. Doesn't even understand what he copy and pasted.

I've asked you before what I have been wrong about. Why don't you post what I am wrong about. How many high level m plus players are running bear tartare. Please, let me know.

You are worse then Ion.

You are the biggest blizzard apologist in this thread. Every time someone complains about a change that's being made you push your glasses up on your nose and say "Akshually". Not only do you defend and attempt to justify shit ad nauseum (while pretending you're just explaining the real meaning to us "retards") but you'll actually keep going and going, for page after page, even when someone shows you that you have no idea what you're talking about. You literally just did this for 5 pages trying to explain to us what the real reason for the legacy loot system only working 11 levels or lower was. The entire discussion was about the Blizzard Q&A and what Ion explained to us as being the actual fucking reasoning (as nonsensical as it was) and you still argued that's not what he really meant. All while suggesting we were just too stupid to "get it" like you do. If you aren't trying to justify this shit why the fuck do you argue incessantly, for pages on end?

You are not smart. But you keep telling yourself that it's everyone else.

Is this like last week when I said the real reason for the mobile app thing was unintentional, then someone called me a retard, then they came out a day later and said it was a bug they were working on? Yeah, your shit is exactly like that all the time. I'm sorry you can't see the forest for the trees.

I am in no way a Blizzard apologist. I think the legacy loot system is stupid. I think changing the food is dumb even if I don't use it. That doesn't mean I can't extrapolate why they are doing things.

You are literally retarded.

Ahh so now you're clairvoyant and even though the tweet in question said it was removed intentionally we were supposed to not take their word for it and instead understand that you are the one true master.

Jesus christ Fyff. Just shut the fuck up.

I'm not the one true master. Anyone with an IQ over 75 realized that shit wasn't intentional. Thus why I call you a retard.
