This is incorrect, people are burning down Mythic Raids in 15 minutes and doing +40 M+'s. They just added an arbitrary cap per phase but its so high that 99.5% of the players would not hit it anyways. There was a couple ways to do it in lik a day that they nerfed, but you can still hit it without those ways (rares)

Only info I can find is people complaining that trail accounts cant queue for Trial of Valor and that the artifact / class hall stortyline is level gated. I imagine there is no advantage this time.

There's a short gap between hitting max level and hitting ~620 ilvl where it kinda sucks but the moment you get into Mythic raid groups things take off

Yeah, getting to mythic raid pickup group power level is the elbow in the progression curve, because a Mythic Trial Of Valor takes 15 minutes but nets you 100k Infinite Power.

Heroic ToV might be worth your time, but otherwise just doing a daily run of pickup Mythic raids and then mythic dungeons will get people to preposterous power levels before long, especially as more raids are added each phase. (My gear is 'only' ~720 but at 50 Infinite Power, I just face tank Heroic mode group quests. Have not tried soloing mythic dungeons yet, however.)

Edit: Added that # of raids will only increase over time.
