Had no idea the Chinese version had gacha mounts etc. Battle Cat from He-Man "sounds" cool and of course the mail mount looks cool. Have no idea, and dont care to look it up - for whatever titan forged servers are.

They already do? Bunch of complete trash players I sometimes hang out with who couldn't do 8s in Dragonflight are doing 12s by themselves this season and they have only marginally improved.

Not being sarcastic or cynical but the difference of a mediocre player doing a successful 8 vs 12 is add-ons, seriously. WA, DBM and stuff does a lot for a certain type of player, GTFO alone saved more DDs than healers ever could.

Unlocked the Cloak of Flames and my first legendary weapon in WOW after 20 years. The axe took a shitload of DF era LFR and a handful of post DF mythic raids. I did countless LFR runs to try and buff the bad luck protection and never did get it in DF. I didn't have the time to commit to Cutting Edge. So yeah, I needed a place to flex. Consider me flexing. I'm proud bros. Super PROUD. Ima rend yo dreams.

OK, so I got a late start plowing through Legion Remix....

Mrs. Haus Mrs. Haus and I are basically just hitting everything as a Duo right now, plowing through about all of it. She's at ~350 ranks on her weapon (Demonhunter) and I'm at around 510 on mine (warrior).

Only hurdles we're hitting on mythic raids seem to be around mechanics like the boss in nighthold that casts "absolute zero" which you get hit with unless you can huddle for warmth with more players than we have in there. Are people handling this solo by just overpowering the mechanics?

Also noting few guides specific to remix on tackling the raids, any remix specific guides out there?

I've enjoyed it so far, it's like taking WoW and sliding the slider a notch and a half closer to diablo....

Yeah, got some green Housing item doing something in Undermine, click on it and retroactively given another ~180 items, presumably from past Achievements. Which is nice.

What's not nice is then trying to figure out from the UI what I don't have (not that I give a shit about housing itself, but there's a bar that goes up from collecting more stuff), or looking at vendors (including Class Hall) and seeing buy conditions that really should have been retroactive - the most annoying one so far is a Class Hall vendor item that requires getting 20 new recruits, so time to exhaust (or if possible, kill) your existing recruits so you can go hire more, rinse and repeat for the next few days on each class. Blech.

I know it's just the initial release, but really disappointed that there's so little older content. Like 4 items from the WotLK era, no ability to display trophies related to older feats of strength of acquired legendary items, etc. No charter housing zones until Midnight launch, so my guild can't really setup a neighborhood until then (our raid team is part of a larger guild with several raid teams, so can't just do the guild zone) - if we do it at all.

How does Remix work (never done it) - you just create a separate (from retail) remix character and level up through Legion basically? You get to max level and can convert that character to retail/current expansion? Do you keep your stuff from remix? Sounds kind of fun, loved Legion but didn't do DH or Shaman but wondering if it's too late..

Still a month and a half left, not nearly too late and they are adding catchup mechanics next week to turbo charge leveling. Its a separate character that cant leave the Broken Isles, but uses retail talents and abilities. Level to max level, get gear that overpowers content and theres an infinite power grind that makes your character a god. Goal is to collect bronze to buy more or less every toy, mount, armor ensemble and pet released during legion (Mage Tower and PVP transmogs excluded). They also added a "Heroic World Tier" which I think they will eventually add to the base game so the regular mobs etc in Legion zones werre 100x stronger but dropped far better stuff.

I got to 999 Vers with over 200 million (fury) to 350 million (prot) HP and could solo basicially anyhting and everyhting even Mythic raids lol.

Yes, you create a Timerunner character, who then goes through an accelerated version of the expansion (Legion in this case), where raid lockouts and world bosses are daily instead of weekly, accelerated XP gain rate and bonuses to make it even faster (by the end I had 400% XP bonus + 250% XP bonus for 70 to 80) so you can level a character in just a few hours.

At the end or whenever you decide to transfer to Retail (you don't have to wait until it's over to transfer), your character becomes like any other character in your account, meaning all the stuff you unlocked as far as quests or achievements go remains unlocked, but the gear you have will be changed. Currently on Remix you can get gear up to 740 at level 80, but a transfered character will instead have 655 gear from what I read. You'll also receive around 5K gold on that character upon transfering.
