Older xpacs are usually cheap. Not sure if they do a catchup for those or not since I have always gotten them as they released.

I just wondered if there was like a bundle thing for old returning players where I can get like The definitive edition that's got everything. I just haven't kept up with Warcraft in eons. Like I said earlier it sounds like the time mix deal sounds like it's a lot of fun and you don't have to screw around with organizing a bunch of people to do a raid which I don't care about anymore, but it would be fun to go into a dungeon and run around or do a small group deal.

I loved the game when it originally came out and had a lot of fun, but then the first expansion really kind of soured me. All of your hard work was meaningless, and the only reason I ended up playing WOTLK was because all of our guild who were playing Warhammer suddenly jumped ship from that game back to Warcraft and they dragged me along because I was main tank. I don't think I even finished half of the raids in that expansion because I just got burned out. Gone are the days of me caring about a loot treadmill.

Two things...

First, if you want to speed level a class in Legion Remix so you can open their order hall and get whatever rewards are there (like decor for instance) with the latest patch it's pretty simple. Get high enough level to go to Heroic World Tier, then fly to Broken Shore, follow a group farming the Lost Legion Infernals, get just close enough to get a tap on it, then retreat far enough to not get killed. I was popping 1-2 levels a pop off each one killed to powerlevel my remix druid.

Second, now that I'm doing the legion content again I realize something. The ENTIRE Stormheim storyline all boils down to one thing : Our buddy Odyn had a bad breakup with his bitch of an Ex (Helya). She took the dog (Guarm), and got a restraining order slapped on him. And Odyn's salty as fuck about that.

OK. I am officially in jimmies fully rustled mode...

After making it a point to let me Tism flow and grind it out I get to 99,999,999 Infinite Power and despite reading multiple places about it being there, there is no FoS for it. In the write ups, including a couple blue posts on it, it was to get to 99,999,999 Infinite power OR do a 49+ mythic. In reality apparently it's ONLY for doing a 49+ mythic.

What's up fellow Warcraft players?

I'm thinking about getting back in. I last played Season of Discovery on release and quit early on. I'm considering just rerolling on whatever SoD server is hot, but what else is there?

it looks like SoD is basically done and will be locked in classic forever? Or are people expecting a Burning Crusade addition? And then there's WoW anniversary which is just basically WoW on a new server? And there's whatever current year which maybe would be fun.

Oh yeah, Mrs. Haus Mrs. Haus and I were chugging up into the M40+ territory just as a duo (Two DPS, no tank, no heals, no brakes!) and that was before I hit 999 vers, but there are a couple which are bugged on certain bad mechanics that don't scale right (like Eye of Azshara) and if you get those as your keystone you're just hosed for the week. Once you hit that 999 vers and max out iLvl running everything is just ludicrous, like running Vanilla content with a level 80 on retail, except for when you hit mechanics which are bugged and they screw you. To give an idea of the stat level...

I'm just super salty that whereas multiple sources talked about the FoS it apparently doesn't exist. And means I'm probably done with Remix, which also makes me mostly done with WoW until Midnight drops (or at least the Midnight pre-patch). I guess the silver lining there is that the politics sub-fourm here needs to buckle up as I don't have anything distracting my perpetual politics posting shitshow from fully re-engaging now.
