True, all I know is I'd fucking lose my mind. Imagine trying to kill a boss and you got this gaggle of fucking retards trying to take the spotlight constantly and a 5 minute boss suddenly takes an hour because Billy wants to fuck off.

It’s a minor thing and doesn’t affect game play, but it feels good. Day/night cycles would be nice too. Every zone being locked in perpetual day time is dumb.

It's something I wonder if they regret after all these years. "Real time" day / night was pretty neat back in the day, but there is something about the way EQ did it that just felt right.

Always so needlessly antagonistic and wrong. EQ did it since 1999.
But the changes to lighting and weather are clearly inspired by what MnM is doing. In the same way the tents are inspired by TWoW and the mega server is inspired by Ascension.
It's a good thing i hope it becomes industry standard for open world games. It's a massive improvement on the same old same old we've had for the past 15-20 years.
