PVP is full of "I'm gonna own so many noobs, ha-ha" types that end up leveling too slow, getting ganked, then CRYING in the guild for people to help them kill some guy ganking them 15 levels above them for 60 minutes straight instead of just questing elsewhere. That's 90% of PVP server experiences during leveling.
Turtle WoW had the worst community for this.
I decided to be a masochist and do the worst possible combo of optional leveling challenges:
1) You can only equip white gear
2) Perma PvP flagged
I had a 60 warlock /friend me just to see what zone I was in and perma camp me. Got a level cap guildy druid to help me out and gank him, he brought 3 more from the guild...to camp a level 20. That to me is the PvP community in a nutshell.
