Regular PvE and PvP will be just fine with or without streamers. RP servers have always been low pop cesspools.

Grobbulus (RP-PVP) had a pretty large pop through WOTLK but that was probably because Blizzard actively kept it at a healthy 50/50 faction distribution.

Literally zero RP outside of a Blizzard staff member who had a Tauren named Kraa who could freely walk through all areas of Dalaran while dual-wielding a torch & a buttplug.
