I will say it is gonna be weird once my sub ends. Not that I’ve used it much but I’ve had it like you since day one when we were rigging it for a dollar in like 2018 or whenever it started. I can’t believe it all comes crashing down in December of this year.

I love the fact I moved back 100% to PC. I was even thinking of getting another one - for the office and one for the game room and that way I do not have to move it around. Only takes 3 minutes though to unplug from my office, place it next to my 65" OLED, plug in HDMI to the OLED (ARC back to receiver) plug in my Nova Pro Wireless DAC and Wifi 7 Antenna, turn on the wireless keyboard/mouse and off to the races with an Xbox Wireless controller - laying back in the movie seating. 65" 4K ultra gaming 120 FPS.

It's pretty fucking epic how easy it is.

Seems like steam machine will need to push release pass the ai chip grab to be competitive. I think they fail with the soldered on chip. Upgrading and repairability are the best features over a console.
Xbox could subsidize their shit to the nines. Require a couple years of game pass ultra mega plus in order to get the best price.

That's the issue - their subscriptions and paywalls. Hell, they even paywalled End to End encrypted meetings in MS Teams and charge $10/user for Teams Premium. Just wait to see what they do here.
