Some interesting rules being rolled out here.

Not sure if I love the running clock idea, but it could work out well so games move quicker. The kicking game changes seem pretty cool too.

I definitely like the idea of the games being faster paced.

I like the sound of faster games, too. I'm going to go to the first DC Defenders home game. DC Defenders fan for life (or until the league folds in a month).

I want to see that overtime rule. I always loved college footballs OT.

Seems interesting, be nice to watch something the week after the super bowl.

Three options after scoring a touchdown: a 1-point play from the 2-yard line, a 2-point play from the 3-yard line or a 3-point play from the 10-yard line. There is no option to kick an extra point.

The yardages seem to short but then I remember the state of kicking in the NFL

But there's no kicking on those plays so it seems right to me. A 20 yard play would rarely get completed.

I completely didn't read "There is no option to kick an extra point. " part so was thinking they were kicking it, durp

The spacing of those yardages seems off. I bet very few (if any) coaches will go for a 1-point play from the 2, when you can get 2 points by going for a 3-yard play instead. It should've been 1 point at the 2, 2 points at the 5, and 3 at the 10.

I would have preferred the one point play from the 1 and the rest be the same.

Either way, will be interesting to see in practice.

What are the chances of Brock Lesnar being a surprise last minute draft pick but only working championship matches?

I didn't get a chance to watch any of the games. How was the quality of play?
