bit coin farming or intentional indulgence as a hobby. i don't know why else you'd need even 5k in a machine.

Please remember I'm talking about nearly a decade and a half ago when I talking about this outrageously expensive computer desires. I know good and well that building a top of the line computer today doesn't cost 14k (video editing besides especially with monitors)

You don't need a 10k+ computer for bitcoin farming. If you own a company and you're building systems for things then I could see spending a lot, but for personal use? hahahaha no.

It was the 90's. The time when everyone thought the bubble would last forever. Where money flowed like rivers. When teenagers wanted to feel what life was like for their parents during the hippy years so we had midnight skinny dipping pool parties all summer long.

I'm a bit older than that and completely relax. Very little rustles my jimmies, to use the parlance of our board. Just the way I feel. I mean, I'm happy(ish), as much as a reasonable person can be.

I just seriously don't know what to do with my time. I have about 150 hobbies and I'm ok at all of them but great at none. I have no kids or wife to take up my time and responsibilities(don't want either) so I basically just float through life lol. And every year I get a little older, obviously, and still have the same total lack of focus. It's not a depression, it's just a "what the fuck now?" type of thing. Seriously....I'm not gonna pick up some new hobby/activity and become world famous, I have no desire to get married or have kids, making new friends while still possible is getting challenging as most guys my age already have a group or are married with kids....and yet here I sit.
