Can you wear these over regular glasses?
I do.

But also now if I need just a "boost" without getting stupid magnification (like working on things with smallish screws like laptop cases) I have a pair I just clip onto my readers.

Also, my original "in the workshop/painting minis" glasses were all about wearable over readers/regular glasses. But they were also heavier,....

With all this said both of these options are good for "boost up what my readers do", but those full on serious ass ones I mentioned earlier can give you a FAR greater magnification for when you need to get stupid tiny detail.

And I guess my entry for how I know I'm really fucking ancient. I have a collection of, and accumulated wisdom about... magnifying glasses options.

Thanks, I typically where a headlamp just to help get a bit of sharpness to whatever I'm working on so I think either of those will do nicely.

Are you familiar with ... hwatever these things are called? I don't care for headgear, so I have one of these in the house, in the garage, and in my workshop.

Probably depends on what exactly your glasses are correcting. My only eye problem is an astigmatism. I could probably wear them over my glasses. But if yours are correcting for far or near sightedness I bet it will be different. Off the top of my head, I would guess you should wear whatever glasses you need to see up close.

But those things look like torture devices to me. I feel like my third eye is being poked when I think about wearing them. So I won't be testing my theories.
theyre pretty lightweight so you don't notice them, i only have one eye i can use for upclose and i forget which one, but when i put it on i know cuz i just took the monocle off the other eye.

led is actually also pretty bright, i use it for soldering
