Phase 1 has wing buffets too. It really isn't a race unless you tards wipe half the raid with an aggro pull, that's when you start running into healer threat issues.

That's exactly how Chys is able to grind groups of low level mobs while dumping extra rage into HS. Elites are no problem when you're smashing them with a lvl 40 weapon.

The server stability and latency seems to be better on Light's Hope. I think they were skimming more money out of the hosting donations than we know about.

Both servers have good quality, Nostalrius has the largest population and that is the biggest difference.

I really don't think my expectations are too high for a quality server that's been in development for 5 years to have default Mangos bugs fixed and core mechanics like stun working properly. They are fixing bugs and they have fixed one of my complaints so far, absorb shields now prevent daze...

The devs intended to increase the difficulty of the game to a degree with the 1.4 changes. I just feel that all that effort was a failure and they should of spent the time instead to fix bugs. Instead we have bugs like spells completing while stunned, priest/mage shields not preventing daze, ab...

I'll be rolling on kronos as well. However I'm torn as I have a few acquaintances that I used to play with that are now playing on Nostalrius. They think that Nostalrius is good enough and don't want to even try kronos. I'm so disillusioned with Nostalrius' class bugs and poor ai scripting...

The support forum is full of bug reports, it's pretty amazing since the majority of the player base is still mid level. Ab is still missing the contesting animation when capturing a flag and the horde base is missing the spirit healer.

From what I read recently, the horde side has more quests while leveling. So it's a little less grindy.

The population is indeed awesome, since starting my work week I've notice a lot of higher level areas are becoming more populated as people catch up to me. There are alot of bugs, very few are annoying though. For a quality project, it defiantly seems rushed.

Nostalrius has had 16 developers since 2010. Current number of devs is unknown. It's hard to compare a beta to an official release, both projects had problems.

My biggest gripe so far is the escort quests can only be completed by one person in a group at a time. There are lots of other default mangos bugs but none are game breaking as far as I can see.
