Maybe it is just Zombie fatigue setting in, but I finally got around to watching this movie and wasn't impressed. Independence Day with zombies, but lacking the Jeff Goldblum factor.

They have to meet their yearly quota of "white man bad" movies, and I suppose they have already exhausted the black power sports movies (the one involving the all black swim team was the shark jump).

I really feel sorry for that Aussie, because honestly I don't think anyone ever took the time to warn him about living in or near the ghetto. If you are white/asian you have an automatic target on your back, and people need to at the very least be conscious of this fact. Obviously it's not PC...

I wonder if the Chinese version of the film has the Crimson Typhoon actually doing something, rather than getting plowed after barely throwing a punch.

I'm really looking forward to those comics, as I've been known to devour anything concerning the Aliens universe...yes even all the garbage. Though I suppose even I have my limits, namely certain films titled AVP and AVP:Requiem.

Genuinely bummed that Kurt Russell isn't making an appearance as Jack Burton. The expendables could really use those finely tuned reflexes.

I suppose next, Paul W.S. Anderson will get his hands on the rest of the Vengeance trilogy and my personal nightmare will be complete.

I really appreciate the recommendations, I'm always on the hunt for quality sci-fi shows. Perhaps a season 1 marathon is in order for this weekend.
