Since this thread is running 17 pages, I thought there might be something to it... I was wrong.
But I didn't read all that shit just to not share my opinion onPrometheusso here goes:

I'm willing to put up with a lot of crap that doesn't make sense in a movie and still enjoy it, most of the time because I'll assume I've missed something or that it will make sense later. While there were a lot of "What the hell is going on now?" moments inPrometheusand I didn't feel the ending was particularly satisfying, I did actually enjoy the movie. I liked the android's interactions with everyone and I thought the visuals were great. I was engaged (if confused) and genuinely interested in what was going to happen next. I was a little drunk when watching it so that may have aided my suspension of disbelief, but I'm of the personality type that can find something to appreciate in almost anything. I would consider watching it again (especially since it's on Netflix) to see if it makes a little more sense with repeated viewings. Great movie? Hell no. Entertaining? Sure, why not? I've seen far, far worse.

I'm really looking forward to those comics, as I've been known to devour anything concerning the Aliens universe...yes even all the garbage. Though I suppose even I have my limits, namely certain films titled AVP and AVP:Requiem.

so someone tookprometheusand fan edited it, calling it "Agent 9:prometheus? Special Edition". The list of changes is absolutely massive, and spoilered below. Its on IPT and elsewhere I'm sure

Brief Synopsis:
PrometheusSE cuts out a lot of the unnecessary humor, dialog and scene's, building stronger, smarter characters. Removing many plot holes with the story and just general things that have issues. Such as Fifield getting lost in the structure, running in a straight line away from a rolling space craft. Deleted scene's or certain shots from the deleted footage was re-integrated back into the movie by either using several shots to change certain scene's or by adding a whole new scene to the film. All new material was color corrected, scored, sfx added and leveled to appropriate audio levels.

Intention:
To create a better more intelligent version of the movie, with stronger characters, less humor, less plot holes, and more in the heart of Alien.

I rewatched it recently, still pretty retarded, the deleted scenes I have on my DvD are even more retarded, luckily they weren't in the original cut.
