    First World Problems

I yelled at some dickless teenager for not actually having the complimentary bottled water for my son's birthday party. A 40 pack at Costco cost me 3 dollars and I had time to get it before the kids needed it.

    First World Problems

At some point every day I feel unmotivated to work an extra hour, at home, to make an extra 200 bucks because I'm too busy reading forum posts and grinding meaningless steam achievements on my games.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I watched Ultron in the IMAX 3D, and that opening scene with the crashed star destroyer was huge and imposing compared to the standard youtube way of watching it. Really set that mood.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

If you're a fan of the show "The Blacklist" it's actually hard to separate the Reddington character personality from Ultron in some of the scenes.

    Interstellar (2014)

If they are desperate for a pilot its reasonable to assume they would sacrifice the emotional connection thing to get a good pilot. What doesn't hold water is that if they were so desperate for an experienced pilot, they would have known about him and come to him first prior to him stumbling...

    Interstellar (2014)

I'm not complaining. I'm pointing out the obviousness that the series of ridiculous events that somehow resulted humanity being saved is, by definition, a Deus Ex Machina.

    Interstellar (2014)

Foreshadowing to a Deus Ex Machina doesn't mean it's not a Deus Ex Machina. Lest you forget, the ONLY reason he entered the black hole (that eventually saved the human race) was because Matt Damon was a butthole, caused a boom, and the resulting recovery caught them in the gravitational pull of...

    Interstellar (2014)

From Urban Dictionary. Deus Ex Machina Dates from ancient Greek times, where "deus ex machina" ("god from the machine") in a play referred to the act of lowering a god on stage using a cable device (therefore, a god from a machine) to decide in a dilemma and give fate a nudge, so to say...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

I think it's fairly well agreed that they shouldn't do anything during any new Star Wars movie that makes us remember or requires us to remember "plot points" from Episodes 1-3. Unless Luke takes a new Death Star to wipe out every Gungan in the Universe.

    Interstellar (2014)

Watched it with the wife, and she fully threw her hands in the air and gave up soon as the black hole thing came up. She's not really into movies that go all Deus Ex Machina on her.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron

The movie was great and lived up to everything any reasonable person should expect. More Ultron would have been just more dumb stupid robot action or dialog, so I'm fine with what I got. A few things though.... 1. War Machine... when he comes in the final battle, needed to pick up some big...

    Interstellar (2014)

Allright well, I guess if that's the way it was meant to be interpreted I missed it.

    Interstellar (2014)

I get lost in the argument that the "science fiction" isn't accurate enough. If the science was all accurate wouldn't it just be.....you know.....science. Science fiction takes what we know, makes several gigantic assumptions, and then tries to make those assumptions work into a compelling...

    First World Problems

For the amount that I pay for my awesome Costco full nut cashews.....the 3rd world half nut crap has to go somewhere. Maybe you should buy an unsalted version and make cashew butter.
