This shit is downright boring. I understand that a show needs time to develop characters and contextualize things a bit, but after 8 episodes the show's plot is still spinning its wheels. The plodding dialogue and shifting camera perspectives don't exactly make up for the lack of action.

I didn't say it was a good movie. It's a mindless, entertaining reboot of a mediocre 80s movie. Even if it were a great movie, its box office numbers and review scores would suffer because you have a bunch of silly virgin dorks upset about an all-female cast.

Fuck. Daya is a stupid cunt. One moment she seems resistant to her stupid mother's influence. The next she comes across as naive and impressionable. Why would she be ok with her baby remaining in the custody of her mom and her drug-peddling relatives?

Only halfway through season 3 but it looks like Bennett's not coming back. Is he even mentioned in season 4? I think the actor may have had scheduling conflicts because his departure is completely out of character.

Meh. The battle scenes were shot well but it's hard to care about this stuff when pivotal characters disappear for 3 or 4 episodes at a time. There was zero build-up to this battle. I feel like they tried to recreate Hardhome, but at least that conflict had time to germinate. With 2 shortened...
