A lot of the bear asses were removed. There are still some left over, but it thins out the higher you go until you're in Heavensward. There are still "go here and talk to blah" watch a cutscene and move to another place and watch another cutscene. That's the story narrative type of game it is...

They wouldn't announce microtransactions early on a game that's being looked forward to.

Its a security issue, sure. But the original game had it. And its most likely to stop modders being able to do path of diablo, and other overhaul mods. Cant make money from people not playing on the official servers with microtransactions.

It was... Ok. I haven't played the PvE stuff yet so I can't comment on that. I wouldn't buy it full price with what I know about it now. I feel I got about 20 bucks worth out of the game, but spent more.

I actually play this once and awhile since the new guys took over. I have not seen or heard anything really, but I am not actively trying to play the game to meet new people and befriend them either. I will say there are some guys in the discord that align pretty heavily with this forum though...

I fully forgot that they took that out. No wonder I disliked playing through so much as I was forced to play it as a FPS. Its coming back to me now, and yeah that is some bullshit. No reason why melee cant slow down time and aim for someones eyes, throat, genitals, ect.
