Odd, I am reading people saying bursting shot does work, as does binding.

It proc's off a surprising amount of things.

Yes, if it goes off. You can do it on several fights that allow some form of cc on adds. They "fixed" it in 7.1.

It's not just adds. It works on bosses, even if they are immune. I use my pets stun and it gives me the buff. Just checked my logs for this week's mythics and I have the buff 3 times on Ursoc(which makes sense since my pets stun is 1.5m CD).

You have a DH tanking on mythic? What's he building for stats and talents? I like my warrior but my DH is 15 ilvls higher and is pretty relaxing to play. I don't quite know how you are supposed to surive on higher difficulties with demon spikes being almost your only defensive cooldown.

I have done entire mythic emerald nightmare on my DH aside from Cenarius because my guild wanted me to use druid there. Here's my armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/bloodfeather/Allana/advanced

Besidies that done nightbane twice, did a +10 eye of azshara yesterday with 2 chests and generally parse decently-high when I can dps whore on bosses.

Honestly for raiding I prefer my stats like this: Versa = Mastery > Haste > Crit and I like feed the demon because you want as high uptime on demon spikes as possible when actively tanking. The DH discord are all about the leech when in meta talent but I think it's less effective because selfhealing is fairly often overhealing in a raid environment whereas more mitigation will never fail at being good.

Versa is hard to get unless you get super lucky with high-end mythic+ drops as such I recommend just going for what the highest itemlevel is. For Emerald Nightmare you probably want to pick up all pieces with haste/mastery as those are great itemised. For anything that has armor/agility, 10 itemlevels higher means it's better than an item that has the best secondary stats. For jewelry it's a bit less set in stone but at the end of the day I like having a large health pool as well because it allows for more breathing room for your healers.

Trinkets is probably the thing people ask the most about. Darkmoon card is super good because of the innate armor you get and seeing as we have timewalking tomorrow, buy the trinket with badges that has an armor use/proc. It'll likely be the strongest thing you can get for physical mitigation for quite a while, even though the itemlevel is super bad. If you feel like you need to be a bit more defensive though (say tanking Xavius or Ursoc) it'll be a great trinket to pick up.

Any other questions, just ask!

I think the fundamental issue they didn't realize with legendaries is that in Diablo (basis for legendaries) is that in Diablo YOU CAN TRADE THE FUCKERS. The neutral legendaries are beyond useless to certain classes (symbiote belt). But the class ones are character defining and improve your ability dramatically or change fundamental playstyle dramatically... That you have NO way to get other than RNGjesus.

Again in Diablo if such items exist you can just buy them. May take some time to farm money but you know you can get it of you want.

You can't trade legendaries (anymore) in Diablo, and seeing how clueless current BLizzard is about about old Diablo games (see Reddit), you can assume any reference from them is to D3. The real difference is legendaries in Diablo drop like candy and you discard the ones you don't want. The whole Diablo comparison is a pretty farfetched.

I'd say the legendaries in Legion feel more like the purple world drops of vanilla WoW. And to come full circle to your post, you could buy those world drops.

Thats not an easy question to answer. You're at the pinnacle of haste on that character. You hit stuff really fast without a lot of "Mmph!" in other words. Still topping meters, because plain and simple - you're a S2M Spriest. But look at it this way, start looking for gear thats flip flopped from what you're currently doing. High Crit, Low Haste. More Crit = more damage, more auspicious spirits which generate 4 insanity per spirit and they dont cost you any GCD. You may not reach the time you're looking for - but you'lll do more damage. Above 10k Haste, crit actually weighs .33 more than haste if math makes it sound better. Wish I could help you more, but dont get distracted by trying to reach max timer.

Trinkets is easy from that selection, if they're all equal'ish item level. Crono Shard would put you into such a high haste that it would be wasted in most situations. Oakhearts gnarled root has been parsed out and is trash. The Versatility has a weight of less than 1, to boot. Twisting Wind has been parsed out and although it doesnt have any secondary stats - its still higher damage returns than the other two you listed. Ranked BiS next to your Arcano in most guides.

Sorry Im not more help in answering your specific question, but hopefully the response steers you in a better direction. If you're still adament about your direction - try Power infusion at 70, use a GCD, then use your Mind Bender - that instant cast builder should net you the push you want.

-Edit- Most of the stuff I said is based off information you can gather from H2P, AskmrRobot Forums etc. I just summed it up to you so Im not speaking out of my ass for example. I geared myself towards a more rounded approach so Im still desirable in high Mythic dungeons. Sticking to 8k Haste minimum and stacking Crit. 12k Haste is very raid specific and only for a few bosses.

This was all very helpful thank you. unfortunately I'm not actually in the foh guild so I don't think I can get access to those forumns (damn family ties otherwise I would've xfered a while ago)
Basically Im just set on the path of most damage possible and had read the 3rd torrent was where it was at. I picked up a hell fire deck recently so may swap the arcano out for it once it's fully upgraded. I thought about dropping the plague trinket but looking at my logs that things routinely doing 3 to 6% of my damage and ironically my dps dropped when I got rid of oalhearts even though I gained 10 ilvl (I think this is just a combo of bad play and get better scrub)

Again thanks for the advice. Going to try and drop about 1k haste for crit and see how it goes

Well...DH is just doing emissary quests, and lfr now. Monk is doing the same. The mage managed to get to 825 Saturday so did the LFR on her too. She still has a lot of the Suramar to do though.

Started on my shadowpriest, made it to 103 on sunday...got all 3 artifacts done. Goal for her is to get to 110 to start investing in AK also.

I like alts too much. I guess I enjoy the fact that there's more progress on them than the characters at level cap and high ilevel where you put in 20 hours and maybe get 1 item improvement, while an alt is like you improve every 30 minutes or so. The sense of progression is more satisfying. :)

Also funny moment this morning with Crone Crone . We do a +6 DHT, had a few mishaps. End up making 2 chest just in time.

Right after the other dudes in the group bitch at us for, "being nubs" as the Frost DK was pulling like 450k DPS and Crone was doing like 350 or something. While their monk was at 250k but we were supposed to carry him. Since that argument failed he called me a noob for not knowing the route... Oh boy, AM dungeons!

On this week's raid I only procced Sephuz one time, on an Illgynoth blob. I have a near constant damage+stun and a damage+snare as part of my rotation.

If you still have an ability that procs it on a boss, it's a bug.

Even when it did work the uptime was fucking pathetic.

All my factions exalted, heroic/mythic/lfr and M+ runs every week. Still just Sephuz club.

I've only had it for a few days. But in my testing it has procced on dungeon bosses. But only with paralyze (sap) not stun. Since I can use this whenever it is pretty good.

They should have created quest lines for the f'n legendaries. That way, even if its gated behind farming tokens around the world, you have an idea of when you'll get it.

At least I got the bad legendaries out of the way. If mythic raids didn't have such a high DPS requirement, I wouldn't care as much.

Yeah, I use these two to trigger it in mythic+'s on trash etc. But 100% doesn't work on bosses now.

Betting my next legendary (next month or so) is going to be the neck. I'm still strapped in to play the long game through Night Hold as a sub rogue. The slings and arrows of RNGesus and my haters will only make me stronger (talk more shit) when I get those legendary boots (next year).

Count on it.

Mythic is the only enjoyable raid I've done.

I don't know how someone could limit themselves to shit tier normal and heroic raids and think they are experiencing content.

I don't even look at my screen anymore on anything less than Mythic +7
