- Rare and boss NPCs in Charasis can no longer be charmed.
I assume because people were selling so many PLs and possibly cutting back on the sales of XP pots from the store.

Context, their group was stealing pulls from my alts group....So i took my cleric and camped him in their camp, and contest their rares. I win more than i lose =)
Oh wow. I know this is petty, and not that big of deal...However, that's another great reason why I'm just not putting time or energy into this game again. I really enjoyed living on the edge charming spectres in HS. I wasn't selling PLs, hell I wasn't even looting shit as even that was a waste of time to me.
It was just one part of the game that I enjoyed and motivated me to log in.

Since all Krono originated from DBG at $18 + tax. What is your logic that Krono are not actually worth that much?
At some point someone bought it for that amount. Grey market sales aside.

And many people dealing in Kronos have never bought a single one from DBG. They got them in trades, that adds another degree of separation, and yet so many people can't not see $$ when they look at a Krono, even though the simple fact of the matter is, for 95-98%, a Krono will never = $$, because they're never going to even try to sell one for real life moneys. I guess the reason so many people still can't separate the two, even knowing that they themselves will probably almost definitely never RMT them, is that it's $15 saved per Krono if they decide to stay subscribed.
Also looking at that patch lol wtf?
- NPC names are now automatically capitalized at the beginning of sentences. This applies to consider messages, aggro, death, and victory texts, all combat messages, and more.
They do get that plenty of old mobs are separated by an A vs an a or a capitalization ?
Gotta agree with you there. Changing such old content because of something so small is really sucky. They slowly remove all the unique/clever things from the game.
Lol I was reading those patch notes and the best augment in the game requires having kept shit like Quintessence of Elements. If I was playing my old chars on live still I'd be so glad I was a hoarder for so many years! Lol look at this augment Artisan's Prize It's 100 ac +80 heroic stats to everything and 100 attack, heal amount, spell damage etc. 80 heroic agility is like 10 aa ranks of combat agility (dodge). Modern eq be crazy.
So if you didn't keep your PoTime key (among other things) lol you get to do it again.

Krono sales are pretty paltry and definitely not worth the risk. You have to be pretty hard up for money if you think you're "making bank" doing this shit.

So whenever you trade for something with Kronos you consider yourself to be paying $18 per krono? Whenever you sell an item for a krono or more you consider yourself making $18?
There's a difference between buying an FBSS for 3 kronos and considering that to be $54 and having just traded some GEB's that you won in a camp for 3 Krono and then trading that 3 Krono for the FBSS and realizing you simply traded one item for another.
It's one simple big giant fact: you can't magically turn a Krono into $18 or even $9, it requires effort, risk, time. What's so hard to get about that? It's degrees of separation. There are lots of real world examples of things that are at one point bought for x amount of dollars but do not = x amount of dollars.
Edit: Also my point was that people that go crazy when they see items for sale for kronos because they are so outraged that people would pay $50-100+ for an item are idiots.
