Everyone keeps saying Bronn saved Jamie, but he was sinking in that water with full plate armor on and only one hand. How the fuck is he not going to drown? I won't be surprised if plot armor saves him and Bronn cuts him loose, but I am surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

I was more surprised that no one died. GoT used to kill off loved characters in the middle of big arcs, I figured that battle would make a martyr / hero out of somebody. The fact all the players walked out unscathed was kinda lame.

His horse was running THROUGH the water. Then he gets knocked off his horse less than 3 feet from where it was running and suddenly the water is 25+ feet deep? What the fuck?

I could be drunk but I thought Jaime sinking tied into Cersei's witch prophecy of doom thingamabob. The visual looked familiar.

Ya I was just saying that same exact thing. Also had a problem with the dragon only ripping a small hole in the enemy line and not getting there a little earlier to go perpendicular to the friggen line before her troops hit it.

So I just realized today that this leaked a couple days ago. How much drama was in this thread? Any more bans?

how about when bronn got knocked off his horse and he lost his sword, he was putzin around and found a lannister soldier with a straight sword stabbed thru, and he stole that sword.

shouldn't all the lannisters be slashed w/ that crested dothroki shit?

Maybe Jaime sinking is a baptism metaphor and he is gonna find Jesus like the Hound did , INB4 Dragons are the Angels of the Lord of Light.

Loved it, seeing dragon vs foot soldiers went exactly how I expected it would. I also immediately suspected (not really) Jon made the carvings. Arya fighting Brienne was dumb, as if you can parry such a large sword swing with that toothpick. Very strong plot armour on Jamie and Bronn. Bronn losing his gold made me sad, he deserves better. Littlefinger I think is not long for this world, and a good thing too since his character has been ruined a few seasons ago.

Or maybe a dothraki lost his inside the skull of someone else and so picked up a regular sword and used it.

Easily explained.

How does John know the story of the Snow Elves? I thought only Bran hung out with them and knew their backstory about the Walkers?

Makes me think of the opening of American Gods and the Norse fighting so hard core that arms holding swords flew off and stabbed dudes 10 feel away.

Ya it seems like the writers have been reading too many fan theories and threw story assumptions onto the characters. Or am I not remembering john getting a good schooling about the children of the forest when he was up north?

Yeah, I'd let dany ride me too.

Dose eyebrows.

People can shit on her acting all they want, but Emilia is a tiny little thick piece of yummy, second only to Sansa for aging into her hottness.

And yeah, the bronn Jaime shenanigans were the weakest part of the episode.

I'm OK with Jon telling stories about the snow elves. You can assume its folklore in the north, and as an educated bastard and commander of the nights watch he would be familiar with the stories. They didn't need to show a master in season three telling him the story for me to believe this is knowledge he might have.

Bronn Jaime though was straight plot armor.

Yeah my first thoughts were there's no way he's not gonna drown, wearing heavy armor like that will make you sink like an anchor.

But it would be pretty retarded for him to get saved at the last second, only to drown like that. If they wanted to kill him off this episode, getting roasted by dragonfire would be the epic way to do it. So he'll probably get his armor off somehow, or Bronn or Rickon(Dickon) will do it.

Jaimie cant drown, my gut tells me he is the one who has to kill Cersei so the Mad King (Queen) + King Slayer echo can repeat again ala George Lucas school of writing.

Seriously? He learned from the markings. That's literally what the whole scene was about.

Unless you mean how he knew they existed in the first place? Based on Dany's reaction it's common knowledge.

What Bran knows is that the night king was created by the children, which Jon still doesn't know
