Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

Supposed to be a commercial for the trailer on GMA tomorrow morning.

They did the same thing for a Rogue One trailer (not during the Super Bowl obviously) and it did have a small amount of footage in it, both stuff from the trailer and stuff that wasn't.

Man...that theme at the end totally sounds like the Star Wars disco. Ugh.

At first I thought it was a spoof commercial.... it really looks awful.

Whatever. I came hard to TLJ trailers and the movie was absolute shit, so I'll reserve judgment until I watch and see if Howard managed to salvage this thing.

It was nice of them to give Han Solo a cameo in the Han Solo movie preview.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Glover carries the fuck out of it. I look forward to seeing what he brings to the character. Emilia Clarke can't act for shit. If this trailer was after Rogue One; then yes, grab the balls and stroke the taint, but because it was after TLJ, it's been relegated to "I like that trailer"
Had to look up Emilia Clarke and damn, you're right again. Please lady don't overact. Please die because you're not in the original trilogy but before your badness becomes overwhelming. In small doses she may be fine. As an extra would be better.

Your last sentence was the most striking. Because it had not dawned on me before then. but I also may not see this asap, like it should, which makes me sad. in theory.

Probably just because its a teaser...but trailers with quick cuts like that, which avoid the main character, do not often give me hope for a decent film. That trailer seemed to really want to emphasize the gorgeous visuals, and keep away from any dialogue or characters.

Yeah I think that's a natural conclusion to draw but it is really just an announcement spot. The full trailer tomorrow will be the test of whether or not they're going to play hide-the-Han.

Yeah I was actually down with the music until the end there where it tried to pull in the original theme.

For some reason I'd rather have Chris Pine.



teaser did it's job. Will probably watch, did not dislike rogue one.
