Snap got Squall AOSB and Laguna USB... Ice Team just got a huge ass bump.

Lightning's USB + LMR is all you need to make her a great dps. The ASB is nice as a finisher, but definitely not needed.

My dark team still totally blows.... so I finally said screw it, time to off-element that whore. Lightning team got me a victory in 36 seconds. Video:

Missed mastery though because uh.... I never used a dark attack lol. I need to figure out how to slot one in once to master...

Anyone else getting a little sick of farming these magicites? Been grinding the earth one to complete my set and even though i consistently sub 30 it feels like such a huge hassle... especially getting the right inheritance which needs you to grind TWO level 99 4* magicites. Thank goodness 5* magicites don't have higher passive values so I can just inherit 4*s to them.

Haven't even touched the light / dark ones yet.

Thanks! Yea I was hyped when I got it, though I'm done with farming the Wind Magicite which is a huge bummer so I haven't properly tested it yet. Unfortunately out of Dex Motes to max Laguna.

It's fine once they are on farm and if you use FFRKreeper

I've just been trouble having the Holy/Dark stuff on farm because of the status effects, but I'm nearly done getting my first set of magicites at 99 from them.

Actually I’ve had minimal problems with drop distribution because you generally need around 2 of each to get the right inheritance, like 2x elemental attack or 2x elemental defense. Earth is actually worse because they have the best passives useable for other magicites (crit damage and fast cast), which needs to be level 99 to get full value.

Maybe I should just inherit the 3* passive but the completionist in me doesn’t agree =/... though I think he’s close to caving in!

My plan is just to inhert Dampen Element onto Dampen Element magicities first, then Element Boost onto the Element Boost magicites. That way I get all the Element Boost/Dampen I need from 1 Magicite and I can use the other slots for Attack/Magic/Crit Boost from off element magiciies.

Once I've done that I'll farm a third set of Magicites which I'll inherit Attack/Magic/Crit Boosts onto.

Depends on how badly I need the extra power. For elements I'm strong in, like water or thunder, I just inherit 3* passives. For stuff where I need that extra push, like dark or ice damage, I take the extra effort to enhance a 4* passive. Technically I should always do the best, which is 4* passives, but as someone pointed out on reddit, the time it would take to farm and level and enhance everything with 4* magicite, we would have 5* out by then, making all that work obsolete, so it's not worth it.

I'm just keeping the 3* magicites. Only have one copy of each.

After spending two weeks leveling up dark magicites, I went back to Siren with an actual Dark team, and this time I managed to master it in 27 seconds.... with only two old darkness relics: Orlandeau's BSB and Shadow's BSB. I'm kind of surprised that actually worked, but I guess a really focused magicite deck works when you put in the effort to max it out. Exact team lineup was:

Shelke -- Wrath, Entrust
Onion -- Wrath, Entrust -- pUSB
Orlandeau -- Dread Weapon, Banishing Strike -- OSB, BSB
Yshtola -- Curada, Shellga -- BSB
Shadow -- r2 and r4 of the dark ninja stuff -- BSB

Magicite:
Main -- Shadow Dragon (inherited lvl 15 empower dark)
Phantom (inherited lvl 15 empower dark)
Isgebind (inherited lvl 8 deadly strikes)
Firemane (inherited lvl 3 dampen blizzard)
Necrophobe (inherited lvl 6 dampen holy)

Basically I put up Orlandeau's thunder god mode, dispelled Siren's haste/regen then just kept spamming his BSB with entrust batteries feeding him. Worked a lot better than I thought it would. I've now farmed Siren a few times with this setup and it's very reliable (doesn't require dualcasts, though they help get it under 30 seconds).

Pulled for a chain, lucked out and got garland’s dark chain. Paired with edge for ninja cheese + orlandeau’s usb and managed to sub25 siren fairly easily without any dispel.

Ninja abilities are just bonkers.

They add stats based on "boon" passives. If none of the magicite have a boon passive, you actually don't gain any of their stats. The stats gained are Boon % (after diminishing returns) of main magicite + half of submagicites.

For example, if you have magicites with the following equipped:

Main -- 130 atk
sub1 -- 82 atk
sub2 -- 170 atk
sub3 -- 135 atk
sub4 -- 54 atk

and among them all, you had an Atk Boon r10, Atk Boon r5, and Atk Boon r5, you would gain to your team (after buffs):

(130 + ((82 + 170 + 135 + 54) / 2)) * (10% + 2.5% + 1.25%) = 49 flat atk, which is not boosted by buffs

I definitely didn't attempt him. My FFRK play time has definitely taken a hit with work and new hearthstone expansion. Been missing some content, trying to catch up, just finished the stuff rotating out today. I really need to work on torment dungeons if this iteration is going away soon. Had a lot of good hits on this X banner that is going away today so I did a pull and got Tidus' uosb!

I actually still need to kill shadow dragon before I can start on 4* magicites, I'm sure I can beat him once I put a little time into it, I just haven't made the time yet. I've been farming more of the other magicites more though, have 99's of almost the 3*'s now and started inheriting some easy to lvl 2* magicites onto many of them.
