Paper is widely considered to be the best paper to use for a poster, and bright paired colours work well to draw the eye towards them, along with a standard size of 27" by 40". These qualities will serve you well in reaching your audience.

It's also important to be topical in your design. Giant bold letters spelling out "Don't be Tyen" should be sufficient.
