D4 provides a different experience than D3. Where D3 is like PoE where it's a base then instance game, D4 provides like 12 different activities (10 of which are base then instance). The open world exp counting for kills if you tagged it is different but not new to the genre.

If they want to have technicals fights like that, they need to fix the stutter steps when releasing sprint and server sync issues. I'm on fiber and had a death on that fight from server sync. It's so stupid.

You can make build files for the tree and skills. It doesn't automatically load then for you but it will tell you what you were using skill and tree wise

I have no idea, I don't play PoE1. Once you hit a certain power level in PoE2, the game is a walking simulator so keeping up shouldn't be a big deal. Once you have enough Divs, loot on the ground isn't worth looting unless it is worth a Div or more.

I didn't get to Bodach until I was wiping the floor with 15s so my experience was different than yours. I never full clear. When I am juicing maps, I try and get all the map mechanics. Before full mod 15/16s I just found nish the map and whatever I met along the way was cool.

Map sustain before you fill out your tree is such a stupid mechanic and should be baseline that a map of even level is guaranteed to drop. They need to cut the progression time for all the mechanics in half or have the stuff you do in campaign count towards it or something.
