The great thing about MnM is you can take all these gameplay concerns directly to the team (Shawn) and he’ll actually respond. A novel concept, really.

I think they’ve said they’ll probably be a pvp ruleset server (maybe other rulesets too) if demand is there, but nothing is being designed or balanced with pvp in mind. As others have mentioned, the stated gameplay focus is small group content. Not massive raids.

I'm glad they found someone to focus on animations. I feel like some of the other artists were spending a lot of time learning something rather than banging out character models and other art assets.

Not coming out this year. They are planning some type of pre-alpha by the end of this year. Focus is to finish the proof of concept, which is a city and a few adjacent zones then try to get outside funding.

That already exists and its called Mischief. $30 gets you over a million plat and you can buy anything you ever wanted. The thought constantly crosses my mind "well, do I want to camp this item for 5 hours or would I rather spend $10 and get it now". As a non-poor adult the choice is easy to make.
