Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Thing, Hawkeye, and Storm are the starters. Atm, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Storm are pretty good, while Daredevil is meh, and Thing can be beastly in pvp with reflect.

Inferno at the lower mp levels are a joke now. At the very worse, you might have to farm nightmare act 3 at a higher mp lvl to get some starter gear.

That dragon is also harder than the next few dungeon bosses as well.

I second what abefroman said. I have been on Fort Aspenwood since the second week of launch. I always see shouts for dungeons, as well as quite a few pvx guilds recruiting. For wvw, we seem to be pretty steady and locked for t2 now. The only time we seem to get queue is on wvw reset night.

Actually, if you put steam to offline mode then let the vpn disconnect, you will be able to play, as long as steam is still in offline mode.

Click on US servers, then you can find an aussie server there.

Pick any tradeskills you want; in the long run, it doesn't matter. You can take all of them, and it will only cost a few silver to swap between them. Regarding pvp armor, you can purchase power/vit/toughness gear from the wvw vendors for karma or badges of honor.
