Having done ARR and Heavensward recently the MSQ flows pretty well. The Dragonsong War -> Stormblood transition was pretty bleh though. Couldn't wait to be done with Ishgard.

Personally don't care. This isn't a game where you're fighting over resources or where players are starved for choice by any stretch in any content. Though stuff like boosts/gear catch up is closer to pay to convenience than pay to win and I think is fairly healthy for MMOs on end of life...

You can upgrade it so it's not as bad, but I still found myself running as often as possible. Never finished it as it was pretty repetitive/boring and it didn't seem to change much 10 hours in.

WoW is still first preference overall as that is where the people that I play with are and TBC launch is going to be fun. Plus having another MMO to play during the inevitable lull of P1 TBC will be nice and keep things top of mind going into the next FF expansion which I'm 100% going to play...
