I just started Titan this week, and I'm ten episodes in. Do they ever stop spending ten minutes per episode on some random character pissing and moaning about how shitty they are as a person? I really enjoy it until the inevitable slump of emotional reflection.

No Conroy does suck, but I think it'll be way easier to get used to another guy sounding grumpy. Hamill's Joker wasn't just shrill all the time, which I'm afraid of with any other voice actor.

Absolutely no need for a sequel. I wouldn't mind if they went in the "different characters, same universe" direction, but I'm perfectly okay with not seeing Joel or Ellie again. At least, not directly seeing them.

I did the same thing with my wife: I think she was hooked from the minute the prologue ended. She ended up watching me play almost the entire game, and she's not that big of a video game fan.

I never cared much for Uncharted 1, but 2 and 3 were great. Nolan North actually voices a pretty important character in The Last of Us.

If you're not going to have the patience to use some stealth, I wouldn't bother. I loved the game, but I'm pretty sure it will fail completely if you just want to gun your way through every single encounter. You'll get plenty of opportunities to shoot things, but guns were always a last resort...

I read somewhere before this game out that it was "hard to get emotionally invested in any of the characters". I don't know what the fuck the author of that statement was on, but I felt something for almost every non-enemy NPC in the game.

That healing class is really fantastic with somebody who can actually use it. I've seen a good tech keep players alive through some nasty fights.

I'm on the total opposite side of that: my daughter doesn't seem to prefer one of us over the other, but my in-laws keep telling my wife that she prefers me. Really upsets my wife.
