I agree on all the points mentioned regarding what this game has to offer. However, I'm amazed at how smooth this game runs on Ultra settings. I had no crashes at all this weekend, everything cranked up to max, and the game was running smooth as silk. Damn shame the actual game is shit.

Wow, I'm up north a few hours in West Monroe. I actually bought my first XBOX 360 off ebay (got it less than cost) and feared the same thing. Everything went fine however. Hopefully they will catch this assholes.
PS: My PS4 is working fine after the update. Bought it for my son...
For sub-$30 bourbon, there are only 2 choices in my opinion. WL Weller 12yr and Elmer T Lee. Van Winkle (what many consider the creme de la creme of bourbon) actually derives from Weller and both of their 12 year offerings have a VERY similar presentation. Only difference is one costs $25.00...
This mechanic was allowing me to level up as support incredibly fast last night. The closed in map with the tunnels had EVERYONE reloading and reloading. I just stood back throwing ammo one after another and the supply ribbons and xp was coming in like rain!
No issues at all with the new nVidia drivers. Only one crash last night and it was server side. The premium will get you a few xp boosts and some other cosmetic things like camo's etc... Most importantly premium gets you all the upcoming maps early.
That scene with Chalky and Daughter should earn him best supporting actor in a television series. Holy shit what a scene. In just 30 seconds you saw the strongest character in the show break, another leave you guessing if she was switching sides and then an EPIC conclusion. I could watch this...
Added another amp to the mix this week. For practice, I've always used a valve combo amp with build in effects due to how easy it ease to drag around from the house to practice and back. Live, I revert back to my normal gear and pedals. I picked up the new 2nd version of the Fender Mustang IV...
Loving this album. By the way, anyone who listens to "Everything" and thinks Trent wasn't listening to the Cure "Pictures of You" with that post chorus riff is kidding themselves. But I think this is what makes him so incredible. He can throw his influences out there yet make it undeniably...
Finally some new music from a great duo. Apparently the new album is going through final production and should release soon. Little deeper sound than the first two albums, but still sounds like Phantogram.
A clip from their first album for those not familiar.
This.
Personally I believe the Harrow killing spree is related to his sister. After the first kill you see him take a deed. Maybe it's the deed to her home and property? He's clearing the way for a sanctuary? If you watched the preview of this Sunday's episode, his sister asks him for a...
I'm about to add some toys to the arsenal. I started playing Les Pauls back in the late 80's due to my favorite band being The Cult and my favorite guitarist being Billy Duffy. Now Gretsch guitars is making a Billy Duffy signature White Falcon hollow body, based on the late 70's run of the...
Surprised that I haven't seen a thread on this one. Passed it up a few times and finally sat down and watched it last night. Possibly the best movie I've seen this year. Very "Huck Finn'ish" sat in modern era. The preview centers around McConaughey's character, but you quickly realize he's...
As a musician and overall admirer of great music, I must say this may be the best album I've heard in 15+ years. There's just so much going on musically. How someone captures this much talent on one album amazes me. Steven Wilson just may be the best composer/producer of progressive rock ever.
I've been a PT fan for years, and have been a day 1 purchaser of all of Wilson's solo work and other projects (Blackfield, etc..). First listen of this album was actually too much. I had to stop listening and wait until I had time to sit down and really take it all in. There's just so much...
